I suppose i found a bug with the special forces Role Spec Ops? My current Special Forces Limit is 586 and when i choose Spec Ops it reduces it to 40, which is more than 30%?

@calle The modifier works fine on my end, are you sure you didn't have any extra national ideas that reduced it by another x% ?
I´m currently on another playthrough and it works fine now. I tried replicating the problem but it only exists on this savegame. No other ideas or anything that reduced the cap. I will try replicating it.

@calle Strange! I didn't change it since it worked fine on my end,so I've no idea what caused the issue. Don't worry about it too much if you can't replicate it after some time.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I see these errors in my error.log file:

[1938.10.01.02][triggerimplementation.cpp:2733]: common/ideas/wp_education_policy.txt:39: has_idea: democratic is not A valid Idea
[1938.10.01.02][triggerimplementation.cpp:2733]: common/ideas/ip_economic_base.txt:216: has_idea: neutrality is not A valid Idea
[1938.10.02.01][politics.cpp:1481]: SWE couldn't remove/replace invalid idea planning_stage

These are just some examples. I hope it helps you with your development of this mod. Thank you.

Playing Magna Europa or Europe in Flames, I get a blank selection for all government categories "Your country has no" is all it says

My game always crashes when I use both Better Law and policies and Road to 56 mods, still don't understand why, I'm on the last version of the game, with no other mods on, I'm getting upset because I love both mods and don't want to play another game without one of them, please help me!

@desnoyersjonas You'll have to post the crash log found in C:\Users\(your user name)\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV under "crashes". Are you sure you are using the correct mods together? You need 3 mods for RT56: Better Laws, Better Laws for RT56 and obviously RT56 itself.

You cant use Workers Council law, is it requires both a Communist ruling party and Socialism sub-ideology (Socialism sub-ideology only apply to democratic nations)

Glad to hear you're working on it. As far as I can recall, my only other comment was on the kaiserreich version of the mod

(moved my comment into here), but (building on that post about incorrect levels in laws), this also applies to non-core manpower (which goes, level wise, from integrated > prohibited > segregated; vs the more logical integrated > segregated > prohibited), female service (from top to bottom it's level 4 > 3 > 1 > 2), officer training (top to bottom is level 1 > 2 > 1 > {no level}; going from level 1 to {no level} costs 100+80, versus from level 2 to {no level} costs just 100), Firearms regulation (3 > 2 > 1 > 2; i.e. it's cheaper to go from "harsh licenses" to "right to bear" than from "harsh" to simply "licenses"), Trade Unions (tho this one is likely intended, as the last option isn't more harsh than banned), Population Control (jumping from encouraged to national is cheaper than jumping from standard to national, tho again this might be intended)

anyway, thanks for the mod, can't imagine playing without it now!

EDIT: again, if some of these are intended, just take this as me talking to myself!!

Minor thing, but in gt_judiciary under politicized type head, you're missing an OR, as it's currently looking for two of the same slot at once:

ai_will_do = {

base = 20

modifier = {
has_idea = chairman
has_idea = military_head
add = 60
}
...

another one: Training Quality: no_training's ai_will_do has one check as "surrender_progress > 90"; looking at other modifiers in the file, it should probably be "surrender_progress > 0.90"
