Ring Transporter
How about ring transporters?
They could work similarily to the stargates, as in
-adress
-basic animations
-teleportation
and they could be used in small ships without requiring as much space as the stargates

it might end up being more of a door, you drop it down, guy accesses it and ends up in the ship, problem is retrieving it, this project might work best when multi function blocks are more in depth... a piston function would be perfect for this
