So I did the baseball card collection questline and made my way to the location, but there wasn't any interesting loot there at all.

Fun to do the quest though, love how you implemented those steps

Thanks for the feedback BreadGar83, so one of the ways I had to do the check was every hour it sees if you're in the general area so it can spawn the bat in that cell. If you're able to get from the edge of the cell to the bat location before the hour is up it might not spawn until the next hour tick.

All of the bat locations are on the ground. That said, it's definitely not perfect, and I am working on seeing if there is a better way to go about spawning the reward. Very sorry it didn't work for you though.

Does the bat spawn in multiplayer? We've spent a good chunk of time looking in the area of the red X with no luck. Have the map, and completed box of cards in our main inventories. Tried foraging. Can't think of much else.

It does, it spawns on the ground - if you let me know which map you have I can probably help point you in the general direction to look for it. The hardest one to find is probably the one near West Point because of the tree cover around it. I think in the next iteration I'll spawn it in a bag so it's easier to find, but it seems to be a common issue folks are having.

Alright! We'll scan the area again today. It's the map that shows the red X to the right of a small house in the farthest NW corner of the town, next to the road that leads north to Riverside.

If it's the one I think it is. the bat should spawn at
6862, 7182

If the cell isn't active on the hour in game, it'll check again an hour later. I'm thinking I might need to reduce that because an hour in-game can be a long time if you generate the map outside of the active cell, but it will eventually show up.

Huh, yeah that's the right map location, but the bat definitely doesn't appear for us. I've spent collectively 2 game days or so running all over that area, the other houses, up and down the yards, thinking maybe it spawned randomly in that general area or something.

I was able to collect another set of cards last night, going to make another map and take a shot at that.

Oh, meant to ask earlier, we have loot re-spawn disabled, would that have an effect with how you setup the scripting for making the bats appear?

weird, I had tested it in game myself, and it worked for NoMiS (Greenport's creator) when he streamed it. The only other thing that'll make it not spawn is if the server or client that generated the map restarts between the time that the map is created and you go to the location.

That was one issue I noticed that did pop up, from what I was told by RickMLC (another mod maker) I can add the loot check to the modinfo on game load variable, but I haven't quite figured that one out yet.

Either way, respawn won't interfere with it, because when the map is generated I put an hourly check into the game's hourly function that will force create the item at that location. So the only other thing I can think that happened is that the client that made the map logged off before anyone activated the 150x150 cell. In that case, you might want to have your admin spawn in the item and drop it where it should be until I can get that fix in.

I'm doing something with that whole 'questline' that PZ wasn't really made to do haha, so there a lot of gotchas that I have to work though. I do have a list of things to address the issues, but haven't had a chance to dive into them yet.

But thanks for letting me know here, gives me a better idea of where I need to look to fix the issues

Good news, the second one worked! It was the one in Riverside, right next to a white fence near a couple houses and a parking lot. So perhaps I didn't realize that either I, or the server, was restarted after I created the first map like you said.

Thanks for your time! This is a really neat concept/idea, and yeah we've never seen anything quite like it, really cool!

Any reason why the fixtures are already out of water on start? Started a new game in a vanilla location to be sure and the water is functioning as normal there.

That's a new one to me - I don't have any sort of extra functionality around water availability in there. The hoses and what not are visual, except the one outside Royale with Cheese's and the one in the gated community by the river. Would you mind sharing your mod list?
1. Pizza Whirl missing walls 2. Brick building South west of Pizza Whirl 2en floor office the floor tiles are half black textures. what I have found so far.
