ki5s spawn just fine for us

KI5 cars have been spawning on the map, with no issues as of the last couple times i started a game. Both in normal spots and in the streets. If this is a new problem we will monitor their mod. As we keep taps on them already and know their work load is very high to convert it all.

Through testing I've noticed KI5 cars spawning in town, granted I don't have any specific lots to spawn their cars, but there's a lot of generic slots, with a smattering of specialty spots, so they have spawned in town.

does this map have spawns for modded vehicles? ki5 seems to have an issue with custom maps having little to no spawning

I need to re-add the B41 mods to the description, that's on me. If you're running Tikitown on B41, it requires Melos, Daddy Dirkie Dirk, Mine and Newburbs. But it does not conflict with Big Bear Lake

We did not see an issue with Big bear, it was close but not over lapping like a couple other maps. I will get with Drazion to check. I don't want to give out wrong info. But i do know on a server we used both maps are on it. B41 I am also no sure got the B42 treatment as far as adding a map after the server is created.

I cant get this to load on our MP server, do we know if it has a conflict with Big Bear Lake or is there a modlist order it has to be in?

@OxTailSafu There is a baseball card box that is supposed to spawn, the binder isn't a bad idea in lieu of it. I'll check the spawns on the box and look at adding a recipe for the binder though! Thanks for the feedback!

@Mitchel Vories We used TileZed and WorldEd to make the map. We haven't done a map export yet as things are still changing and I'm not all that familar with the process to create the pyramid map that the b42map and what not uses, but it's on my list of to-dos for sure!

Can't wait to explore the area thoroughly. I do have to ask, with how often the cards seem to drop, does there exist a binder of some sort where I can put all of them at? As nice as it is to have additional collectibles, not having a specialized binder or container of some sort inhibits my desire to really go out and collect them all.

@xMACxMRJOKA Love it - yeah I wanted to revisit the first hospital we put together, the one that's on the lake now and do a little bit of 'sprucing' up in that vein. So hopefully that'll help, also more underground connections are coming that are in that lane

Drazion first off love the map a lot way to kill it. Second what if we wanted something small done with more added textures and props to play with for modding purposes. Do you take money and/or interested in doing something like that.

If you're on B42, you cannot add it mid-save any longer like in B41, as far as I'm aware that's for all maps, if someone experiences something different then let me know and I can take a look at how they implemented it.

Thanks Mitchel, we have stayed to our normal process. We keep adding and adjusting til we feel good on a test beta. Then we spend a couple weeks going over the map building for building. This time we brought in some close friends to help with this for a week. After that we released it to a discord for feedback. Im not saying this is the go to way of it, but its what we do to prevent any major issues. As Drazion will prove, he was given some long list of issues those two weeks. That is how we arrived at this release version of the map. We have more to come, but the map is more then playable at its current state. We also want the feedback. @Kimchi Warrior I'll take a look, I've been running it myself recently and have gone through there a few times but there are a lot of variables with an unstable build. I'll try a few variations to see if I can replicate and address if this is popping up under certain cirumstances

@Mitchel Vories it's not my intention to make the whole thing high-pop, high density. The new system is taking a bit of getting used to from a map creator's perspective. I've got it turned down to 11-14 density in most areas and still quite a few on default apocolypse settings.

I'll continue to tweak the settings and try to get it so that the residential areas are more akin to Riverside, the industrial is West Point-esque, and only the high-rises area as the higher-pop higher difficulty areas. I appreciate your kind words and am happy you're enjoying the parts you are able to get to, just bear with us as we also get used to this new system TIS put in place.

hello. First, I'd like to thank the creator of this map. I think tikitown is the best mod map of build 42 at this point in time. Full of surprises! I've been traveling around Tikitown for 4 days now, and I've noticed that the road near the football field and the church are tingling due to map crashing. This is the same thing that happens in the [b42] Grapeseed map. Can you please fix this?

Regarding the comment i posted earlier there seems to be 2 more shops that dont spawn they are the medical shop and the electric shop in the same L shaped building on the east side

Hello thank you guys for the amazing map i just wanted to notify you about something , we use this map mod for our public server and there’s 2 shops that dont respawn loot in them , im asking is this intended or a bug with the loot tables the buildings are the hardware store/leather jacket shop on the east side of the map in the L shaped building

@OxTailSafu Sure does! We used the 'unofficial tools' which is a fork of the same open source tools TIS uses and have access to, so it has all the features available for B42 that I was able to figure out without documentation.

I added the cells behind the hospital to the town to deal with that jarring transition - next load up of Tikitown (or any new games) shouldn't have the vanilla tracks appear behind the hospital any longer.

It will also allow me to not end so abruptly at the hospital when I work on expanding the highrise area. Thanks Jackal326 for providing the screenshot for context

Thanks for the screenshot now it makes sense. I didn't actually take over that tile as part of the map, but t it looks like I need to in order to improve the flow and get rid of that jarring transition. Thanks man.

Turns out I never actually looked BEHIND the hospital while testing in Tikitown ... little things will getcha

I thought I'd seen a comment about someone struggling to get the SW chunk of the map to load but now I can't seem to find it. Anyway, now that I've managed to sort out the WorldDictionary issue I was having with a combination of other mods I finally got around to trying out this map and I love it, however I've run into the same above issue of the SW chunk (behind the hospital) not loading:

@haypo it didn't appear to work by adding it mid-save with B42. It's something I'll have to investigate but they must preload something different than B41

There's underground parking at the Sheriff's Office, it's relatively small but that's the only one so far. I have more planned for the buildings that will be coming in later in that area though!

looks great so far but the text said something about an underground parking garage. i only found the normal parking garage and that didnt have underground levels. can you point me to where i can find underground parking please?

Thank you all for the positive feed back, we are pretty proud of this build and we never expected to go as far as we have. Thanks for talking about the issues you find. We did a week of testing to find all the issues after removing 2 complete tile packs. We know there are some more visual issues that can not be fixed just yet. But over all, we are happy with the map. Thanks again for checking it out!

Can I add this to my save if I haven't been anywhere near those tiles yet? I read in B42 you can't do that anymore?
