I think there is a glitch for the plots quest crashed shuttle
I went then nothing spawned so i assumed ambush walked all around but nothing triggered so i just left think i completed it and it disappeared but it was still a quest and i could not cancel it in the comms console.

Sounds like a mod conflict in the generation, can you post a log?

exactly the same thing with @westonwkramer, went to the crash site and there was nothing there.

Don't know that this thread need another person chiming in to say they are also running into this issue, but oh well. Let I haven't seen anyone offer up their log to you @legodude17. Let me know if you still need one.

Dont believe dynamic range is involved in whatever the mod conflict is for mine; dont think i have that one. Here is my log if you wanted to check:

I just had this same behavior after several normal downed shuttle missions.

I had done several that all worked fine but then had one that spawned on a tile with a "huge river" feature so there was a large river in the middle of the map when I would approach the world object none of the ships\pawns were there. There were no debug errors on entering the map. I edited the save to move the world object one cell over that was a normal flat tile and this time when approaching the world object everything worked as expected.

I am running a lot of other mods so certainly a possibility of some conflict\interaction.

By chance for the others that experienced this were there any special features on the tile the object spawned on?

I dont have anything remarkable in my tile like an epic river. Just small hills in a Gallastross Graveyard. That being said I do have the Landforms Mod and it has this tile marked as a southwestern cliff as well. Could be that mod messing with the map generation I suppose.

Confirmed, also get an error on the crashed shuttle quest variant for Kindless Knight. I bet it's an interaction with Geological Landforms. The landform involved is CliffOneSide (Northern Cliff.) Here's the log:

Tried removing Geological Landforms and entering the site again in the same save file after the mod is dropped. Still not getting any enemy spawns in that site. I did manage to use dev mode to spawn the next plot quest "Petty Praetor" and check that landing site; they seem to spawn for that mission at least. I moved the spawn site manually in the save file twice and both new locations didnt spawn either. It might be something specific to that actual plot mission.

There are reports on pawns not spawning for these (and other, both shuttle and mansion versions of) missions in the main bug report thread.
Please (re)share your logs there if possible.
