(DX11)Armor Thrusters
Sweet, but too cheap
Great athstetic!
Did some testing, the small version compare great with a cost/damage/benefit study, but the large ship version compares as much more durable at a rather low steel plate cost. It should be around 50 more plates for these bad babies.

Wait so this mod makes it so you can just place armor blocks on thrusters or thrusters on armor blocks? it should be exactly the same prices as vanilla.

They are exactly like vanila thrusters, only with a few steel plates ontop of this. and this is intentional - this mod is mostly for looks, it shouldn't have any impact on practical side of things.

Then it should be at the cost of half a steel block, but a full thruster's materials added to it.

I really love these. If possible; pretty please increase the plate cost of the large ship verson just a teeny bit, we would love to have these grace our server, very very much. These are fantastic, but we also dont want them to be the only thrusters players ever use and a higher cost may also help with this.

Well, a block's "HP" is derived from the components, so by upping the steel plate cost, you're upping the HP as well. In other words, it truly is armored, and would do better against a gattling turret's assault.

"for looks" i thought they were armored, armored thrusters; you know, cause of the name.

Not Entiirely True - Some Components Damage Faster than others - and since it's just a few extra components of the same type as usual the cost/benefit ratio is essentially the same as vanilla. (basically if you follow your logic the OP doesn't matter)

@TreeStump - I think Darth Retired - Don't expect a reply by now.
