Some of you already wrote to me in person that they found areas that are very much familiar from their RL visits as a soldier or a mere civilian.

Some of found ones are:

1. Marnehuizen Training Area in Netherlands
2. Stanford Training Area (STANTA) Eastmere, UK
3. The Sennybridge Training Area (SENTA), Brecon, Wales
4. Sveti Grgur (named Larta ingame), ex-prison island, Croatia - tribute to all the fallen women and men who were brought there with false charges
5. Winsconsin Area near Mazemovo, WI, USA - served as the inspiration for capital town with realistic terrain north of it.
6. Area loosely based on Skinwalker Ranch, also known as Sherman Ranch, famous UFO sightseeing place in Ballard, Utah, US.
7. Skilava Airport mentioned in loading screen was built in 1974. That is exactly the same year Portoroz (Portorose) Airport in Slovenia can into operation. And building (made by our dear Ukrainian friend Barman) is the same as in RL ;)
8. Sveti Peral is an anagram of Name and Surname of a person who sent in a sketch for the town and we made it based on that plan ;)
9. Snake Island is a copy and tribute of a real Zmiinyi island in The Black Sea, Ukraine
10. Some of tallest mountains on the map are based off Ukrainian highlands.
