Bug Reports
Please report bugs in this discussion.

Make sure to have a mod called Hugslib and extract error logs from it, every bug report needs to have attached logs, otherwise it will be discarded and not acted upon.

Even if you don't see any errors, make sure to attach logs.

Looks like a mod conflict. Does it occur with only this mod and its dependencies?
It appears suddenly, at a particular point in time, with no other action.The MOD is too much for deduction. This message will not pop up if you MOD it off

No.What I mean is that this conflict occurs when many mods are installed. It took about 0.5 years for the game to have any issues.

That's what I'm saying. I can't fix or troubleshoot an issue if you have a large mod list when it occurs. I'd need you to be able to have the issue occur when very few mods are installed, preferably just this one and Framework and Harmony.

It's not a bug, but when I use the New Family scenario, the main pawn never spawns when I start the map. I noticed in the scenario editor, there is no "Arrival Method" showing for the scenario. Is this a miss? Thank you! Great mod!

I tried to extract logs with HugsLib, but just got 'Failed to Parse Response' every single time, so instead I'll paste something I think could be important from the debug log instead

The obvious thing here is the 5 morbillion errors at the bottom, though not being a code person I have no clue what this means. At the top of this screenshot is some error logs stating that something is going wrong with ideos and precepts, and further up in the log, which isn't in the screenshot, it states something is going wrong with Vanilla Memes Expanded

The big problem with that is that I do not own Ideology nor do I have Vanilla Memes Expanded installed.

So, I did some more testing. I had a hunch that EdB prepare carefully could be causing issues thorough some weird sorcery, so I put Empire back on and went back into a new colony to try again.

What I found is that EdB was not causing the issue, and in fact it was no longer an issue to start with. This is an issue exclusive to my current colony. ♥♥♥♥.

I've got no clue what is happening anymore, but I guess this is tentatively solved since it seems to be contained within a singular save.

I have been getting the same error, trying to solve for the past few days.

It seems like it is a problem with this mod or Vanilla Expanded Framework adding a patch to do with Ideology that does not work if the DLC is not present.

Note the mention of Vanilla Memes Expanded even though I've never installed that mod. Also a lot of mention of rituals, when the "Gather for Birth" option does not appear.

Also can confirm it has nothing to do with Prepare Carefully.

Im getting a error from Hugslib when trying to get the log,Failed to parse response. what ever that means. So I dont have that part just yet.

But the issue is simply that the transport shuttle permit isnt usable from the world map once the evac permit is purchased.

Iv ran a few tests with just the VE Empire and required mods, created new colonies. If you have the transport shuttle permit you can use it from the world map in a caravan, but as soon as you get the evac shuttle permit you lose access to the transport shuttle gizmo from the caravan on the world map. You also dont have access tot he evac shuttle from the caravan either.

Permits will always replace their prereqs, that's now it works.

As in there is no transport option for the basic shuttle nor the evac shuttle while on the world map.

Well evac shuttle is replacing transport shuttle, and evac shuttle can't be used on the world map. So it's working as expected.

There's error of calling for Vanilla Meme Expanded and the culture data when the save is loaded, while both Ideology and Vanilla Meme Expanded is not presence in the save.
And at the moment notification says the pawn is starting the labor, the "gather for birth" gizmo would not show up (with a Exception related to "Verse.Hediff_Labor+<GetGizmos>"), after that pawn can only get to medical bed and wait for the progress itself.
When the progress bar reaches the end, no baby appears and I get log spamming instead (the "Exception ticking" part), them the progress bar would keep extending if I don't force the behavior stop by dev mode.

This only happens when I use Biotech(and Royalty for VFE-Empire of course) but without Ideology, if I add Ideology mid-save, the pregnancy system would get fixed. Also, this only happens mid-save, so no matter how many times I use fresh save and apply pregnant hediff via dev mode, the labor and birth would still have no problem.

Ok so to add to this again, I've found the following steps are guaranteed to reproduce the bug:

1. Load up the game with only Royalty, Biotech and VFEE (+dependencies).
2. Start a new colony, save the game, and quit to desktop.
3. Load back up the save, and you will get the first errors referencing missing Ideology stuff.
4. Make a pawn pregnant using dev mode, force labor using god mode, and the progress bar will get stuck when reaching the end, spamming the log with more errors referencing a KeyNotFoundException.

When I added this mod mid-game, it causes my save to crash during load. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue?

OP, I found out why the Great Hierarchy was taking so long to generate! It turns out that your Mod is incompatible with this one:

That is not because of anything you did, but because the Mod is broken on the Equiums Mod's end.

Check your Player.log file.
