While in Build Mode look for new UI at top left side.
There's a Percentage Point (p.p.) score of your block plan displayed there.
If you've got 4 points in Yaw, and put a Gyro that reduces it by almost 4 points - then that axis will be nullified. Low values provide extremely slow rotation.
You're probably using high rarity Gyro ( which consumes a lot from single axis ). It's best to use lowest rarity for your ship. Below Trinium it's usually around Petty/Common
