Crash Report Thread
A thread for crash reports. To get your crash report, go to My Documents > The Riftbreaker and open exor_logs.txt. Only post the lines containing word ERROR and the entries after the word CRASH. The log itself will be over Steam 1000 word limit if you try to post the whole thing. At the same time, please also tell me what mod(s) are you using at the time of game crash. Try to describe what are you doing at the point of crash as well. I'll try my best to resolve your crashes.

Firstly, many thanks for the mod; you've clearly put - and continue to put - an awful lot of work into it, and I've been enjoying it immensely so far. Unfortunately, I have found that whenever one of the new artillery towers fires, the game crashes:

This error reads like the mod zip became corrupted somehow. Try un-subscribing and then re-subscribing to the mod.

Do you remember what kind of artillery tower was it? It would help me find what's wrong with it.

Hi, I've tried unsubbing and resubbing a few times, to no avail. It was the cryo artillery; I'll try the others in the morning.

Hi Marquise. I've found the cause of the error. It affects all artillery with defined projectile trail such as Acid Artillery and Cryo Artillery. This error is caused by me using older .material definition which is used to tell the game what dds texture to display. I'll fix it. Thank you for the report. The next update will likely bring some new things so please finish your current game. :steamthumbsup:

This is right at the beginning of game launch; it runs through about half of a splash screen and then CTDs. I have, as usual, deleted and redownloaded EA a couple of times, with no joy - and EA is the only mod loaded.

I hope this is helpful, and once again I'm grateful for all your hard work expanding the game :) .

I think I figured out the source of the error; missing values in Voidinite Centrifuge level 2 and 3. I've uploaded a quick fix and it seems to load fine. Hopefully this will solve the issue you've stated.

I'm aware of this error. It's likely caused by Bullet Turret Howitzer Level 2 & 3. For some reason, one of the turrets launched by the tower have a strange bug. For now stop using the tower as I try to fix it. Thank you for the report. :steamthumbsup:

The error I mentioned with Bullet Turret Howitzer is now fixed in latest 1.3.34 mod version. Please check the changelog for more detailed changes.

@YEE can you tell me what version of the mod you're using? Current mod version is 1.3.34 and I do not encounter the same crash problem. This crash seems like you are using an older version, 1.3.33 where there was an issue with Bullet Turret Howitzer.

I tried the latest version from workshop and I do not get the same error so your crash is unusual, YEE. Try to redownload the mod from the workshop. I suspect your crash is caused by previous bug in 1.3.32 mod version; bug with Vathamite Acidus and Stonkr. Can you provide more details? Is there an alien attack ongoing, towers firing etc? What biome you're playing on?
