Maybe having slower Work Speed but needing less sleep and food or something like that
Steal gene: An ability that allows you to steal a gene of your option from a downed pawn, there will be a chance that the downed pawn dies and turn him in to a puddle of goo.
Reject gene: An ability that allows you to implant a gene of your option and removing it from your pawn.
It would also be cool to either have one species (or two species that are locked to male and female that mate with each other) have male genes and female genes, so that you can have two very different sexes, e.g. beautiful, fast, fragile, short-lived males and ugly, slow, longer-lived, durable females.
