FAQ No 2
🇶 How do I get the server files for Antistasi?
🇦 The most current versions of the PBOs can be found here:
https://github.com/official-antistasi-community/A3-Antistasi/releases/latest

If possible subscribe to the mod in the backend of your server.
If not possible, grab the most current files from the github release page http://antistasi.de/latest (the rar file at the bottom of the page) - they are identical with what is on the Steam Workshop.
Unpack the rar and slap the complete folder on your server via FTP or whichever means you use.
Load the mod via commandline and confirm in the RPT that it indeed is loaded when you are not sure.
Select the mission (the missions are included within the mod) using the normal ingame mission selection UI.

FAQ No 3
🇶 How to set up the mission cycle for a (dedicated) server?
🇦 If you want to set up automatic loading within the server.cfg, use the following example to set it up.
// MISSIONS CYCLE (see below) class Missions { class Mission1 { template ="Antistasi_mapname.mapname"; difficulty = "Regular"; //can be Recruit, Regular, Veteran or Custom. Custom needs setting up though. class Params { autoLoadLastGame = 60; LogLevel = 2; A3A_logDebugConsole = 1; }; }; };

For Antistasi_mapname.mapname of course replace it with the appropriate mapname based on which map you want to play.

FAQ No 4
🇶 How to play Antistasi in locally / Singleplayer?
🇦 Fairly simple.
1. Subscribe to the mod on the workshop.
2. In the Arma 3 Launcher make sure to load the mod before you start the game as well as other mods you'd like to play with.
3. Once the game is loaded, host a local multiplayer game.
4. Then select the map you want to play on and which is compatible with Antistasi.
5. The mission you then can select is called
Antistasi Community 3.1.0
in white text ⬜ .

If you run CBA and don't see it, toggle the
Show Custom Missions
button in the top right corner.

FAQ No 5
🇶 What is Antistasi?, How do I play it?, How do certain things or missions work ingame? and other questions answered in the Antistasi Guide.
🇦 Check out the plethora of information available within the guide at https://antistasi.de/guide

FAQ No 6
🇶 How do I change X within Antistasi?
🇦 As Antistasi now is a mod, changing things within it got more complicated.
We have documentation available at https://antistasi.de/guide/dev
The best way to create something for or change something within the Antistasi mod is to create an Extention aka an additional mod which contains all changes you desire and you can load next to our mod. This way your changes are also compatible with our future releases and you don't have to rebuilt it every time.
More info on that can be found here: https://official-antistasi-community.github.io/A3-Antistasi-Docs/dev_guide/A3AExtender.html

Please keep in mind that Antistasi really got more complicated to fiddle with since it got changed to a mod. So as you are asking questions about it, you also should ask yourself if you have the technical knowledge to do the changes you strive for.
Don't take that as a discouragement but as a reality-check.

FAQ No 7
🇶 What are the differences between the current community version and [insert random version here]?
🇦 Way too many to list them here, especially as we changed from a mission to a mod. Have a look at the releases page of our GitHub and enjoy reading through the changelogs of the different versions.
https://github.com/official-antistasi-community/A3-Antistasi/releases
No, we won’t give you a rundown of them.
For differences of Antistasi Plus, Ultimate or others, you would have to check their changelogs of course.

FAQ No 8
🇶 When will Antistasi be updated?
🇦 We NEVER give out any ETA as the whole Dev Team is working unpaid and only in their free time in the code. Don’t bother us with “when this, when that”. It’s done when it’s done.

FAQ No 9
🇶 Can we have [enter map, mod or CDLC] within Antistasi?
🇦 Maybe.
For Maps please check the pinned Map Overview in discussion-of-suggestions before suggesting it. We already checked a bunch.
For Mods please search suggestions in case it was already brought up. If it's not mentioned yet, feel free to bring it forward. Same for DLCs/CDLCs.

FAQ No 10
🇶 When / Will there be Antistasi for Arma Refrogger?
🇦 No.
From the current standpoint there will be NO Antistasi adaptation for Arma Reforger.
As stated by BI Arma Reforger is NOT Arma 4 but a stepping stone towards finishing Arma 4 in the best way possible.
It is a tool for players to test the new Engine, give feedback about everything and pave the way for the success of Arma 4 in the future.
Hence the Dev Team will focus on continuing Arma 3 Antistasi as well as learning to work with the new tools, the new Engine, the programming language and such to be able to hopefully create something for Arma 4 in the future.

FAQ No 13
🇶 Can you help me with [insert random issue unrelated to Antistasi]?
🇦 For general arma questions which are unrelated to Antistasi, please change over to the Arma discord.
https://discord.gg/6PecsYYQKt
We neither have the time nor the resources for solving that problem next to all the other stuff we do.
Thank you for your understanding.

FAQ No 14
🇶 Any question that goes into the direction of terrorism and related topics
🇦 Please note that Antistasi is not a terrorism simulator.
This means, we as the Official Antistasi Community as well as the Official Antistasi Dev Team have set standards for ourselves which we will uphold. The standards are including but not limited to:
- usage of NGO signs, symbols, units, vehicles
- recreation of current conflicts (maps, units, assets, symbols)
- recreation of terrorist organisations like for example ISIS or Taliban (maps, units, assets, symbols)
Do not ask for help regarding any of the listed as well as related topics.
The Community and especially the Dev Team will not help you creating such a scenario and/or fixing issues related to that.
Nevertheless, in case you really want to create such a scenario, the code is available on GitHub, you can fork it and do whatever you want with it (within the license agreement).

FAQ No 15
🇶 Where is my progress saved? How can I share my progress?
🇦 In one of two .vars files."
As stated there are two files in which your progress could be saved.
The standard variant is that your progress is saved in your [profilename].vars.Arma3Profile file. This file can be found where Arma has saved your profile which usually is something like C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\[profilename].
If you in the startup GUI have ticked the box Use New Save File your progress is saved in the AntistasiCommunity.vars file within the same folder.

If you want to copy your progress onto another machine like for example from your personal computer on a dedicated server, in case 1 you have to rename the vars file to the profile name of the dedicated machine and replace the vars file.
In case 2 you can simply copy the file into the profile folder of the dedicated server.
Please note that overwriting files of course replaces pre-existing saves.
