More Warband Mods
Extra Upgrade Options:
-- RoR Upgrade: upgrade into special units (RoR, provincial, grudge settlers).
-- Expanded Chaos Upgrade: provides comprehensive upgrade options for Chaos.
-- Cross-Race: upgrade foreign units from ally / vassal / mercenary; Norsca marauder to chaos version; Chaos Dwarf laborer to greenskin units, etc.
-- Mods Compilation: A single pack that provides warband supports for many popular units / race mods, and some widely requested non-lore upgrade for vanilla units.


Warband for Overhauls:
-- SFO + Warband
-- Radious + Warband Upgrade


Warband Utility:
-- Warband UI Framework: while not needed for the main mod itself, this framework prioritize the UI file & ensures best compatibility with all other warband mods. For modders, the UI framework also enables warband support without requiring the main mod.
-- Warband Legacy: this is an old version from pre 3.0, with smaller UI size. It still works fine on its own, and good for small screen or old game version. It apparently has no new units / race since then, and maybe incompatible with all other warband submods.


Warbands for Other Mods (which are not in the compilation pack yet):
-- Guns of Empire Upgrade.
-- Highborn Elf Upgrade.
-- Dragon Legion Upgrade.
-- High-Elf Compilation.
-- and probably many more.


Other Mods from me:
-- Immersive Bretonnia Upgrade.
-- Bretonnia Vow Auto Complete.
-- Better Alliance: no more forced alliance breaking, and red-line skill benefits allied units.
-- Better Alliance - Agents : recruit foreign agent from allies.
-- Better Elites: resized and better elite units for meaningful upgrade.

Can you made a versión for Red estalia overhaul?
The person who created the Sigmar's Heir compatibility mod has moved on to other games, I don't think hes gonna update anymore

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a standalone reduced version of this mod. One that reduced the number of upgrade paths to be even more strict (no cannons into rockets, no gyrocopters to gyrobombers to thunderbarge, no cranegunners to balloons, one dragon type into a different dragon type etc) - basically making it so that the upgrades are an upgrade rather than a completely different unit.

It would also remove the limited numbers bypass, as it those units couldn't be upgraded into.

It should just be a case of removing upgrade paths from the current mod, but it would fill a niche between the ultimate version and not having it at all. (there was a mod like this, but it's not been updated for 2 years). I know I could just 'not upgrade' but it's easier said than done :P.

The interesting thing is the mod starts being much more strict and lore-accurate (no artillery upgrade, no dragon, etc). And the old legacy version does not have most of them too.

Then ppl keep on requesting these so I eventually added them for gameplay purpose.

I already have a long list of mod to maintain, and have no capacity to maintain a slight different warband version. But, if you (or anyone else) are willing to do a more strict & lore-accurate version, feel free to do so.

It should be pretty easy by just removing some upgrade links in one db table.

As is often the way.

I might have a look at doing something with it and pruning those links as I play each fraction - you've done all the hard work already. Won't publish anything as, like you said, maintenance is pretty big time commitment. Cheers,
