Crafting Guide
Improvised sewing kit:
Requires: Rope yarn + bone hook or fishing hook.
... is enough to repair minor damage.

Improvised leather sewing kit:
Requires: Rope yarn + sharpened screwdriver.
... is enough to repair minor damage.

Improvised whetstone:
Requires: Stoneknife + Stoneknife.
... with a little bit of spit almost as good as a wet whetstone.

Improvised DuctTape:
Requires: Rope yarn + epoxy or tree resin.
... not strong enough to tie someone but good enough to repair small damages.

Tree resin:
Requires: 4x bark + knife.
... can be found on tree bark. It's pretty sticky. Can replace epoxy

Sharpened Screwdriver:
Requires: Screwdriver + whetstone or improvised whetstone.
... you could poke holes in leather with that.

Rope Yarn:
Requires: Rope + knife.
... single strand of rope.

Candle:
Requires: Tallow wax + rope yarn.
... a candle that can burn. You can place the candle and you can blow it out to use it later again.

Tallow wax:
Requires: Lard + knife.
... made of animal tallow.

Sleeping Bag Roll:
Requires: 4 Fabric + Sewing Kit / improv. Sewing Kit.
... gives you a good night's sleep on the go.

Empty Tin Can:
Eat a large tin can to get an empty one.
... can be cut down to tin can parts - can be used for crafting other usefull things - or can be used as a cup to drink some water. But keep in mind that it's an open cup... so don't fill it and put it in inventory.

Tin Can Parts:
Requires: An empty tin can + a Knife or Pliers - you get 2 parts of one tin can.
... Sharp-edged parts of a cut tin can. Use them to craft other things.

Improvised Canteen:
Requires: An empty tin can + 2 Tincan Parts.
... it is waterproof and can hold up to 650 ml of liquid.

Tin Can Lamp:
Requires: An empty tin can + 2 Tincan Parts.
... an improvised lamp, that requires gasoline and rags to burn. The more rags used, the slower the fuel will be consumed.

Improvised Knife:
Requires: A wooden stick + 4 Tincan Parts.
... better than a stone knife but not as good as a hunting knife. About as good as a steak knife.

Short wooden handle:
Requires: A short wooden stick and a knife.

Long wooden handle:
Requires: A long wooden stick and a knife.

Jaw bone part:
Can be gathered from skinning animals.

Improvised Hatchet:
Requires: A short wooden handle with a stone knife attached + a rope.

Improvised Saw:
Requires: A short wooden handle with a jaw bone part attached + a rope.

Improvised Hammer:
Requires: A short wooden handle with a small attached + a rope.

Improvised Axe:
Requires: A long wooden handle with a stone knife attached + a rope.

Improvised Shovel:
Requires: A long wooden handle with a jaw bone part attached + a rope.

Improvised Sledgehammer:
Requires: A long wooden handle with a small stone attached + a rope.

Additional recipes:
Metal Wire + 15 Nails = Barbed Wire.
Barbed Wire + Pliers = Metal Wire.
Metal Wire + Pliers = 20 Nails.

Tarp. 4 to a full stack of them. Like for the improvised shelter. In-game files call it Fabric.

in case you take suggestions: maybe cordage could also be made by deparking a long stick and then twisting these fibres into a string

Improvised Hammer:
Requires: A short wooden handle with a small attached + a rope. -small stone maybe ?
