Hey is this mod the one that contains Bulwarks Ambry?

How the hell do you beat it at the end of the run? Just keep losing because the boss spawns too many elites. This one had Gremlin Nob first, 2 turns later Gremlin Leader (including Gremlins). Turn 4 I had around 114 damage coming my way...

Clearing out the elites will allow you to deal damage to the boss. if it really feels unfair, i can look over it for a balance patch. feel free to post any ideas you have.

I'll let you know, gonna reach it a few more times to see if that was just a brutal run and I got unlucky.

Hey I got some feedback. Did another run with the mods I'm playing, only game changing ones as such is this one - the duelist - and corrupt the spire. If I didn't have such a strong run with my duelist deck this would have been a loss.

In this screenshot ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3298547665 ), the first elite was the big white crab thing, on turn 4 it was the Taskmaster with an attack from the boss which is what you see.

The rest of the fight the boss only put the Head out once then the Spire Spear and Spire Shield thankfully, BUT, because the encounter isn't like it normally is when facing those elites with you in the middle it then became broken. Due to the fact the behind / facing mechanic isn't happening and it defaults to behind, meaning 50% more damage all the time from Spire Spear & Shield!

I'm not sure about the pace of the fight / fairness of the boss's DESTROY move, only reason being because one of the buffs I got as a result of the duelist mod kept giving me new cards that stayed in my deck. Resulting in longer to get the cards that hurt the boss. Destroying 2 relics at a time *feels* too much but will decide when I get a run without card generation as such.
If someone like me gets confused and finds that the boss is permanently immortal and the glowing shards deal 0 damage, you must target the "Spire Shield" miniboss (The twin boss where you have to face a certain way) with the glowing shard to deal 250 to the Bulwark. The other twin boss might work too, but no other enemies worked for me.

I thought it was bugged because of what the mod maker said above so I kept clearing them and the shard still didn't work, and well, I guess my brain really wanted to the "deal 250 damage to boss" card to be an exception to the untargetable rule, but alas you must target the other thing to deal damage to the main thing.

Edit: Nevermind one time I had two shards in hand. First one dealt 0, the next dealt 250. I have no idea how this boss works, I didn't see any buffer or anything.
