Supported Mods & Maps
While Overthrow: Community Edition tries to support as many mods as possible, some mods are more compatible than others. In this discussion I will try to clarify the compatibility of certain mods with Overthrow.

If a mod isn't on this list, it is safe to use. This discussion will only contain mods that I have something to say about.

[Available Maps]
- Tanoa
- Altis
- Malden
- Livonia
- Chernarus 2020 (thanks to Marder, subscribe here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3347367647)

[Recommended]
These mods are what I personally play Overthrow with that have a great positive impact on gameplay
- 3CB Factions (High quality factions with great Overthrow compatibility)
- Lambs (Very good AI mod, Overthrow has support built-in)

[Supported]
These mods are actively supported in Overthrow
- RHS (High quality factions, will not cause any issues but mileage may vary)
- VCOM (Overthrow has support built-in, but has a major impact on gameplay and FPS)

[Extra Notes]
- Advanced Towing (Overthrow utilizes ACE, and with ACE comes ACE towing, thus advanced towing is mostly obsolete on Overthrow)
- RHS is otherwise recommended, but the available RHS factions may be lacking in units, since Overthrow might not always auto-detect a RHS faction's assets optimally. Perfectly playable though!

@Rexer The weapons and vehicles will probably show up, but the factions aren't implemented, as there is no cold war mode.

Im suprised nobody asked it yet, as a player with little to no ArmA eperience how am i gonna change the enemy faction or modify the mod ? Can you guys make a guide about it in the future ?

Click the button in the role assignment screen that says "Parameters". That's the guide :steamthumbsup:

Click the button in the role assignment screen that says "Parameters". That's the guide :steamthumbsup:
Fast, simple and most importantly it works, one of the best guides i saw in a while lol thanks

Is ACE required to play or only recommended?
I personally hate ACE and it's a make or break.

ACE is a requirement, with medical. Overthrow uses ACE items and needs the interaction menu

Dunno, when I tried adding GM and CSLA it broke something in the damage and respawn system

Hello! I have a question about Lambs mod, which Lambs mod exactly you are using? All of Lambs mods from nkenny or only one? I have LAMBS_Danger.fsm it's a right mod or I have to have more mods?

I really want to start Overthrow over in Arma Reforger. Nothing tells me where the files are that control this, so I can delete them. I saw one thread on Reddit, but it only pointed to a folder that has many folders/files in it. Didn't help. Or, should I just uninstall & reinstall? I'll lose all my progress, but I almost don't care.

There's a problem with owned vehicles disappearing so I have to walk everywhere. Don't know where to find another jeep. This has happened 3 times now and is pretty frustrating. I even put it in a garage while I ran around trying to get the bad guys.

I do not maintain Reforger's Overthrow and this is not the place to ask for Reforger support, please ask in the official Overthrow Discord.
