That is odd... Could be an oversight of some sort. The station only accepts randomly generated weapons atm. I don't know if you tried those, but that's what it accepts.
If that's not working, there is definitely some other issue which I will address as soon as I am able to. Hopefully tonight.

I will look into a solution, but without lua I'm not sure how effective a solution I will be able to find, other than a patch for various weapons to add recipes.

Maybe look into how Universal Uncrafter handles mod-added, randomly generated weapons. Like, they shouldn't technically have recipes because you can't craft them, but it still manages to figure out materials to spit out.
Good idea. Actually been doing that.
Turns out it uses a custom lua script to find out what is a weapon and then provide crafting outputs.
I am working on a script to try and provide similar functionality, but based on rarity instead of level.
Since I am not familiar with coding in lua, it may be a while before I get it working but I'm working on it regardless, and if/when I get it working, I'll update the mod.

The Weapon Salvager has been updated with a custom LUA script which should now handle salvage outputs. Let me know if you encounter any issues. I will try to fix them. Thanks!
EDIT: My friend who also installed the mod is having the same problem. He's able to exchange for credits in Admin mode but the exchange option does not appear without Admin.
The issue should now be resolved with V2.5.4, if it is not please let me know.
