Can't figure out how to do something, or where something spawns? Ask here!
Figured with all the questions people ask, it'd be good to have a place for it so it's easy for people to skim through to find the answers they're looking for, and also just to share wisdom about the mod pack that isn't listed in the description. (Such as recipe requirements.)

I'll go first, I wanted to eat an animal and learned you need a special knife called a "slapper" knife, and in order to make "bad" meat into something more edible, you need a wooden mallet, and volume 4 of the Le Gourmet magazine series to learn how to do it. As for where to acquire both, I got a slapper from a kitchen, and well... spawned in the mallet, because I'm testing out the mod pack, lol. I would assume it's carpentry related, maybe a magazine, or maybe it too spawns in kitchens. I'll report back when I know!

okay, but what do you do with the motors? there are no recipies in craft helper
This modpack is not based only in recipes, they use also the basegame building mechanics, so that motor can be used to make the saw table (You can find the magazine to learn how to do it and next in extended building context menu you can find it)

how do you make bicarbonate soda? devil fungus keeps popping up on my crops and i can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it because i can't get any bicarbonate soda to make the aphids cure

Bicarbonate soda can be found in the world (Bathrooms, and pharmacys) In the future I will add a special recipe to get some more.

Bicarbonate soda can be found in the world (Bathrooms, and pharmacys) In the future I will add a special recipe to get some more.
i've looted basically all of West Point and part of Bedford Falls and I've literally only found one box of it. the spawnrate is way too low

Another question. How do you install power grip or any of the melee additions to the bats that are part of this pack? Thanks

On another note this doesnt pertain exactly to the snake mod but since theres some knowledgeable community members here, is there a way to make a self built enclosure considered indoors? What i mean is ive built several places to take refuge and the temperature outside is the same as it is inside. In comparison walking into a home thats prebuilt you can clearly see a warmer temp inside. Maybe im crazy? LOL any insight on this?

Proper magazine + screwdriver.

As for the indoors temperature idk, never bothered too much with temperature tbh

Thanks its odd that ive never found that magazine yet lol 700 hours in so far. As far as the temperature thing its more of a quirk during the winter, but it also affected my ability to plumb to get rain water to my sink. i had to build a room inside of the bigger room just to plumb then destroy it. Just odd imo.

Sorry to rehash an old inquiry, but what magazine is required for the bat additions? I just loaded a seperate game in debug to read all magazines to find which one I’m actually looking for and there is none that refers to bat additions. Super lost

How exactly do i melt lead? i have the recipe, table, saucepot, propane with fuel, and the lead itself. the table lights up like i should be able to make it, but nothing happens

Is this mod why I can't put an Iron Sight or Red Dot on a revolver anymore? Are there other upgrades available for these? Is there any kind of documentation for these changes and what's available?

Has anyone figured out how to upgrade the Alice backpack with frames and all that good stuff. I have both a frame with straps and the backpack itself. How do i put them together?
