I am running into this same issue myself. Is there any graceful way to transfer prisoners to another nearby caravan from an outpost? If I remove them, they end up like it mentions in the above comment...an unmovable caravan. Because the Caravan has no affiliation with my faction (Prisoners are not part of your faction) you're unable to control the caravan.
Being able to transfer them or merge them with another caravan would help, but these aren't even available either.
Any insight or workarounds would be appreciated, as I have a number of Prisoners I'd like to Enslave and then send them back out to Outposts to work hard labor.

Addition of "Take Pawn" button for caravans to make it easier to transfer prisoners and other pawns from outposts.
