Defensive outpost pawns disappear if launched to defend another outpost?
Title is a decent summary, but for further detail:

I have three outposts, one defensive and two mining. I got a raid on my mining outpost and just for fun I wanted to try sending drop pods from my defensive outpost for the first time. They quickly ended the raid, although their behavior was odd. I had no control over the pawns that dropped in.

After the raid was over, I'm sent back to the world map and all mentions of those pawns are gone. They're not still at the mining outpost, they're not back at the defensive outpost, and there's no caravan or indication that they're on their way back.

I waited a couple days thinking maybe there's some intentional delay or cooldown but still nothing.

Fwiw, I'm also using the Warcaskets mod, and I've noticed my warcasket pawns (the two I sent in drop pods) can't possibly traverse the world map on their own because their actual weight is higher than their caravan carry weight. Maybe there's a mod conflict here?
