The Insectoid Supremacy meme, specifically it's Insect Herder role, needs a patch for interaction with Vanilla Expanded: Insectoids. VE:Insect states that you shouldn't be able to tame the new Insectoids, however you can do so very easily with the Herder role but the Insectoids have no trainability.
Either you shouldn't be able to tame them or they should have a use when tamed
The permanent bases meme needs a patch with hospitality, returning guests seem to have the moodlet count it as if they've remained on a colony the entire time so if a nomad returns enough times they get a permanent -50. If it just reset whenever they left that would hopefully fix it.

you can "softly" fix it by removing the preset of theire relegions via editor and give them something else. It doesnt fix the main issue, but its a workaround, to spare the headaches.
A slider tor the corruption decay rate for the Eldritch meme would be awesome

so, the synthetic leather from "[VtC] Synthetic Leather Core" is considered leather for the purposes of this mod, and thus is making my vegan animal friend colonists unhappy. T_T
if this mod could either introduce a vegan leather alternative that works for this interaction, or if a patch could be created to have that mods leather work, that'd be much appreciated.

if a patch already exists for this, or there's something else i overlooked, please let me know, ive not been able to find such a patch

Expanded Materials - Plastics adds a few different types of synthetic leather, made from plastic rather than animals. I noticed that vegan pawns get the same debuff from it as they do from animal leather. Is there something I can patch into the material's definition to get rid of the debuff, or would the change need to be here?

+1 right now Vegans can't even wear shoes or read/write books from Vanilla Books Expanded, wtf lol

Had to make a patch to keep my dorfs from disrespecting their own booze and going insane, and so was i because Sarg's post was kinda vague. For anyone needing to add drinks to the "is alcohol" list, here's the exact xpath you need to Add your items in:
<xpath>Defs/VanillaMemesExpanded.SupportedDrinksForPreceptDefs[defName="VME_SupportedDrinksForPreceptDef"]/supportedDrinksForPrecept</xpath>

No need to patch, you can just create a def like the one in the mod. The code looks at all defs of the type and adds them up
Can it be made so that if you have Human Primacy and Craft Culture your leader has production specialist bonuses and the ability? It seems kinda wacky that since your leader is your best craftsman he gets locked out of being a production specialist and loses his bonuses :/
Something that may be good is to somehow make it so that the Pirate meme (or the comrade in general) doesn't apply to anyone outside your immediate faction. While its nice having +100 relations with a prisoner, and if you convert them that +100 towards you, it becomes a major problem once you combine it with any sort of execution.
There is a bad overlap with the Vegan meme and the VFE-classical mod. My current run has the Classical factions with Vegan meme and yet they eat jerky and wear leather. That's a -39 moodlet. Maybe a check to see if VFE-C is used and then patch <disallowedMeme>

That'd have to be done for each modded faction in VE, or, if you want to really do it well, on the whole workshop....
Why would it need to be done for every faction in VE? The VFE-C pawns spawn with jerky and that's the problem; can't be vegan and only have meat to eat. Eating meat as a Vegan is -24.
Maybe the patch goes the other way? VFE-C already has a patch for Ideology to disallow certain memes and precepts. Maybe the patch should be if this mod is installed then add the Vegan meme to <disallowedMeme>

I'll probably just disable the whole precept for NPC factions, it's easier
