Report a translation problem
edit: oh no i'm wrong, it's just that it's takes forever for it to "calculate" the first turn, it should be fine now.
Does it crash only after you have enabled the mod? Have you tried verifying your game cache? Have you disabled all other mods?
I can only guess, of course, but I'd assume that upon disabling American Domination not all packed files get disabled - normally this wouldn't be a problem, of course, (you'd just get stuck with extra modded units or specific gameplay changes by the way of a loose XML file), but in this case there's a fair chance one of those files is conflicting with the ones used in the mod.
Here's what I'd do in your situation:
First, I'd delete all of my steam-subscribed mods contained within my /MODS/ directory. Then, I'd open the game, redownload all the mods, quit, and verify my cache. If this doesn't work, you may want to consider enabling logging - but we'll cross that bridge when (if) we come to it. In any case, thanks for the report: I'll have it added under the conflicts header ASAP.
