Half the city states say TXT_KEY_CITYSTATE etc and a lot of the civilisations seem half finished as well. Eg in the diplomacy screen Australia says The Celts - similar with Inca, Aztecs, and Iroquois. The date also starts past 2000. Which is a shame because otherwise it would be good.
(supercarrier, stealth bomber on carrier, unlimited air unit on 1 city, growing fog, emigration, movement mod, naval indirect fire, infoaddict, 1turn tile improvements, tactical nuclear missile, military madness, tomahawk cruise missile, modern military buildings 1, easy promotions, artificial unintelligence, promotions pack -no dll-, improved air recon, free buildings when researched, quick turns, Mutually Asured destruction (MAD), Razecapitals, days of sadat ukown soldier memorial wonder etc)
thanks for clarifying, your mod is best mod btw
scenarios don't work in multiplayer
I don't think it works just loading the map on default civ for whatever reason.
I can't seem to get the map/scenario to load properly. Every time I start a game it gives me the usual civ set up (settler, rifleman etc) on a random point on the map. I have the mod activated in CIV and am selecting 'load scenario' at start. Something I'm missing?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Otherwhise, awesome mod (no crashes here so far)!
What mods are you using? Have you modified aforementioned list in any way inbetween sessions?
the celts are acting as a lengthy placeholder until custom civilization are added into the mod
@Ashe, the Froster Archer
this is more of an issue on firaxis's end and is mostly as a result of how the game is coded; there's not much you can do about it but you can alleviate it by either A) going into strategic mode in between turns (which changes the way movement, combat, and calculations are processed) or B) turn on quick movement/combat.
Copy the map file from this directory:
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Into a New Century (v 120)\map
Paste the copied map file in this directory:
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps
Load the scenario through the mod setup as normal; the map/scenario will be under "Additional Maps"
you're looking in the wrong directory; look here instead
C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
which civ 5 folder? link the full path
@baconatorboy12
have you copied the .civ5map file from the /MODS/ folder to your /Maps/ folder?
thanks for the heads up
@Ashe, the Froster Archer
I'm not really sure what you mean by this question?
@baconatorboy12
start the game, then select mods, enable the mod in the list of mods, then go through setup except select "additional maps" when you're going through it instead - the map file will be in that list
