Middle Earth Civilizations Bug Report
Please report any bugs or errors associated with the Middle Earth Civilizations mod here. I can only provide support for PC users. Also please remember to mention what DLC and other mods you are trying to use simultaneously with my mod.

If you are having trouble with the installation you may need to delete your cache at C:\Users\[User Name]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cahce/Civ5ModsDatabase.db and try again

If I cannot repeat you're error I will need you to send your database.log file to me by posting a downloadable link or using a website like github.
Here are instructions for getting the log file.
1. Open C:\Users\[User Name]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\config.ini
2. Change ValidateGameDatabase = 1 and LoggingEnabled = 1
3. Run mod until error occurs. Using IGE is helpful for debugging.
4. Exit Civ 5
5. Send me the file at C:\Users\[User Name]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Logs\Database.log

i cannot see any text about aragorns background what his benifits are anything what i get is text.aragorn.text that goes on for awhile. i have all the required dlc

I have been aware of this error since the day after I uploaded the mod. I will fix it with the first update but for now you can fix it by turning off Babylon DLC on the main menu under DLC. There is a conflict with an identical city name that I couldn't catch because I didn't have that DLC.

I've played 2x, and the game has frozen at around turn 180 (once as Aragorn, another as the Hobbits). Oh, and the Diplomatic view of the Hobbits has a picture of the Orcs, not Hobbits.

I'm will be looking into to the error with the hobbits fall back image showing the goblins today. I was hoping it would be a simple issue of the wrong image reference, but it wasn't. :/ If I haven't completed a new civ I will post an update with just this fix.
@STLCardinals Rule The game freezing around turn 180 isn't really enough information for me to figure out whats wrong. One thing that usually helps is if you tell me what DLC and other mods you are trying to run simultaneously with the mod. I have experienced the mod locking up on me once as well. I just shut it down, turned it back on and loaded an autosave.

I found it. It was a simple reference issue like i expected just not in the first place that I looked. I will update soon. Thanks for catching it and letting me know.

FYI . . . I played 2 more games since my last post, and neither locked up around turn 180, but I had no other mods running this time (I did have other mods running last time, including Middle Earth maps). I run full DLC. I enjoy playing the mod, so, thanks!

@STLCardinal Rule Sounds great. Glad you like it. I think instead of releasing a small update to fix the hobbit image. I'm going to wait until elrond is finished. I got most of the xml done today. So I still have art and testing to do before he's ready.

Played Gondor and somewhere out in the Middle Ages (sorry, I didn't write it down) I began seeing the airlift option icon way before I'd have the ability to build airports. Fortunately, it wouldn't allow me to airlift. The only other issues I've had were map related (Gondor kept popping up in the extreme SE in the desert - most un-Gondorian) but that's not a bug in this module. Nice work!

@Flashman Yea I found the airlift thing while I was working on Elrond after copying the file for the citadel. I have already fixed it and the fix will come with the upcoming update with Elrond.

im playing azog on a middle earth map and all the command buttons are messed up - the ones that appear when instructing units all have different icons and link to different things (eg. when selecting a warrior, the 'Write political Treatise' button appears which fortifies the unit... Would this be this mod or due to the map?

DLCs - Gods & Kings and Brave New World. Other mods: City Limits, Middle Earth Map Pack (v. 1). I will experiment with different combinations to see if I can narrow down the problem.

EDIT: Apologies, it appears to be a problem with the City Limits mod. I thought such a simple mod wouldnt add my complications. Apparently I was wrong... :(

I was playing a game as Thranduil, the +1 food to forests was working perfectly until I started putting lumber mills on the forest, then the 1 extra food went away. Not sure if this is intentional but I didn't think this was supposed to happen (love the mod btw).
