The Point of Hydroponic Bays?
What is the point of the hydroponic bays, if the stats they display are correct, then apart from the pentaxid 1, they are worse than using just grow plots. Making them completely useless.

Speed, the point is speed. You can click F once and harvest a whole bay (which yields a lot more than a single Steel grow plot)

My Faction sets up a huge Pentaxid farm with hydro bays each play through. You can run through it and get like 2300 raw pentaxid in a matter of 4-5 minutes.

I didn't like them at first but now do, as it means you can also have a smaller ship because 8 of what would be 9 grow plots can be cargo containers. then again now i don't use any grow things i get enough from poi's

also the grow time is much much shorter in a pod vs a plot
