Try 'D' class stars. (The third one I just warped to had a plasma planet). Can't really remember ever seeing a plasma planet around a K class star but some O class stars do have them. Pity there's not that many O class stars.

Plasma planets appear in the system map as a light blue planet - same as alien planets. Make sure that :
- you are outside the territory of any faction by checking the territories checkbox in the galaxy map.
- you are zoomed out in the system map. Plasma planets will be outermost in the system and can be distant from the star with no direct warp line so that they require an intermediate jump to reach them.

It may have been an advantage to have completed the galaxy survey missions.

Edit - There tend to be a lot of Zirax POI's on plasma planets but only some of them will be Abyssal Zirax. Good luck !!

Thanks, I did do the Galaxy survey mission a while back. Oddly, I decided to backtrack thru my galaxy tracks, and if I showed you the track-lines.....you would ask why would I ever think to do that? As, they are an absolute jumbled mess. Funny though, the 3rd track back thru the map, toward Decay, I finally found one. In of all Star types SGR. It is a Large planet and doesn't seem to have many main bases, just a lot of Watch Towers, but it does have the main POI surrounded by a lot of Defense Towers. So, I retreated to stock up (construct) on ammo and other attack inventory.

Yeah, a few of the exotic stars also have plasma planets. It will be very hot and radioactive - I hope you have found some Durable Epic Heavy Armour. Make sure to loot corpses of any Drowned Prophets.

Getting the entropic plasma coils is the nastiest job I've come across in RE. Suggestion - dont blow a hole in the abyssal base due to taking out the generators - it's way too hot and way to raddy to not have an intact structure to work in. I had to craft a small SV (3x3x12ish) with gatlings and cockpit to survive the environment - forget about the turrets and zirax. Nasty nasty hobbitsss.

I think that taking out the generators also removes the boss mech and it's a big chance for the armour. But if you want all the boosters you'll probably need to to hit 3 or 4 abyssal poi's so at some point you're likely to start putting holes in them. Taking a lot of water helps with the heat.

If entropic plasma cells is all you're after then all you need to do is to kill the drones and loot them. Plasma Coils are crafted.

On Plasma planets. Look for ones with Ultra Difficulty. The Hard ones doesn't have the right POIs.

I have still only found the one in SGR and it was only a HARD, not Ultra. Even though, that hard one, when I went to the basement was a bukake of rockets and weapons fire, in the face.
