a good source to read how to find all the new stuff?
Hey,

im searching for information about the new stuff. On what barren moons i could find Tungsten? (i already searched on 6 moons and didnt find anything)

how to get Voidium Extractors?

how to get the rare stuff for Fusion Reactor?

where to get all stuff for dark matter?

how to get progenitor?

For me its really complicated to understand, i have to read outside and looks tons of youtube video to get needed. Why arent any ingame tutorials for each of this? or questlines to get this stuff the first time so i get to know who to get this stuff on my own? This ingame Textstory (UCH) is horribly to read. Reforged Eden is so much content but most of it gets lost for me because i dont unterstand it.

There are 5 start systems - Alpha, Beta, Delta, Epsilon and Rogue. Four of them have UCH Research ships. You should consider starting by obtaining the 4 survey missions by talking to the 4 captains. Three of these missions involve visiting a moon and it is likely you will find Tungsten deposits on these moons. Take your time with the survey missions and loot easy targets but leave the harder ones because these will use up substantial resources. Doing this will give you pretty good supplies of useful things like zascosium, erestrum, platinum and gold. Examples of easy targets are:
- the floating Unknown Artifacts on the outermost Barren planets. These have 2 very rare loot containers. Targeting the generator will also destroy the core leaving no way for any opposition to spawn.
- Crashed DSE2 (Front). These have 2 (often buried) very rare loot containers.

Don't forget that you can deconstruct a lot of things (eg laser rifles, laser cannon, etc) to provide zascosium alloy.

So the Voidium Extractors are not new and it may take you a long time to acquire one. In reverse order you will need to:

- get Progenitor Technology Fragments
- these are only found in the Decay star cluster (Progenitor space)
- in the beginning the only way to get there is through the Andromeda - Decay Warp Gate (search for 'gate' in the galaxy map). Just for traveling there the first time you will be gifted 5 fragments which is enough to make a Voidium Extractor.
- but the gate is locked and to unlock it you will need to visit and activate the core access POI's in the 9 Core systems. (search for 'Core 1', 'Core 2', 'Core 3', etc etc in the galaxy map.)
- but the Core access poi's are also locked and to open them you will need to have a Progenitor Translation Matrix in your inventory.
- you can make a Progenitor Translation Matrix at the research computer of any UCH research ship after you hand in 100TB of data chips also at any research computer.
- you can acquire 60TB of data chips by completing the Object 82 quest (talk to the Lead Researcher on any UCH ship for clues on how to start this quest). The other 40TB will have to be acquired from Data Caches and these are found mostly in cold systems (D or M class).

By the time you reach the gate you will have traveled well over 5000 LY so it's important you acquire and hand in navigation data at research computers. Handing in 50 navigation data will increase your jump range to 160 LY. Some missions - like the galaxy survey missions - have navigation data as a reward. Some will be found in loot containers. They can also be purchased from UCH quartermasters for a very steep price.

Since you need a Voidium Extractor to get the voidium for dark matter containers and pods, maybe we can leave those for now - possibly by the time you have a voidium extractor you will already know.

I have not built a Fusion reactor but Vermillion has said that the ingredients are available at factories in trade station sectors in the Polaris territory. (Click on the territory checkbox in the upper left of the galaxy map).

There are a number of guides in this discussion forum and you may find it helpful to read them. The ones posted by OctoberSky are quite good.

Hope this helps.

It works just like a standard generator.
