where should i look for since the abyssal zyrax are non-existent?

is it also possible to reduce the number of changes in the procedure everytime the game gets an update? last time i knew where to look, now i got no idea...

Same place as always, Plasma planets.

As ravien said - plasma planets. Literally anything abyssal drops it. NPCs, special crates at the POIs (usually only 1 crate per large POI) and even abyssal drones (the ones with the creepy names, fe Terror of the Deep) - if the drone base on the planet is abyssal and not zirax.

Plasma planets can be found around hot suns, some even around colder ones - D for example iirc. They are high G (4 and above) and extremely hot and irradiated.

Cheers
dude, i've been like on 7 plasmas already. there's only normal zyrax

being it in zyrax territory, being it in NON FACTION TERRITORY
being it in tesh territory... there's only RADOS
Abyssal POI's used to be pink in the HUD but now they are red like normal Zirax.

i know but still i scouted all the planets.
The big animation of the whirlpool above the Abyssal Energy Research POI has been missing lately too.

Been on 2 plasmas a couple of days ago. Drones were Zirax, all the bases too, except the anomaly thingy. It was there on both planets. But the whirl, now that I think of it, was also missing.

Cheers

Well, just went to a plasma and it took about 2 mins to find them. The POI's are red like Zirax but they identify as Abyssal. However, you will need to be very close to them (200m) for your radar to identify them. Hence if you are closer than 2.3km to a POI and it stays a question mark when you ping it, there is a fair to middling chance you're on the right track. The exception is the Anomaly with it's missing whirlpool which I think is still identified at the normal distance.

The effect at the anomaly will return eventually and be better than it was before. :D
