Turn off enemy garrison auto-spawn script
I have to say, this is the greatest total war mod ever (in tie with TES Total War and 3rd era)! Great job for the creators!

Since this mod prioritizes historical fidelity, I'd like an option to turn off garrison spawning when under siege.. That's just really annoying and also inaccurate imho. Sure, it's okay for them to get 3-4 militia units, because that happened in ancient times, but to spawn fully equipped, elite units.. I think that breaks immersion. At least for me it does.

My question is, can it be disabled in my local install? and how?
I did disable it based on a similar post for Medieval 2 Total War, but I found no such post for Rome (so I created one! :) ).

Many thanks in advance!

I'm sure you can go to where the mod is installed, then in RIS/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, put a semicolon at the start of the last few lines that define that script must be loaded.

Hello, jorellaf, could you please write the name of that script file, responsible for garrison auto-spawn? Because in my descr_strat.txt file an the end I have only next lines:

script
tutorial.txt, once_only

You must be looking at the base game descr_strat.txt.

The mod is stored in:
C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\885970\2487698001\

But you might get those changes overwritten by an update or just steam deciding to validate files. Your best bet is to copy the entire modfolder to your local mods folder.
%localappdata%\Feral Interactive\Total War ROME REMASTERED\Mods\Local Mods\
and edit the file there
