Edit: nvm, kind people on discord helped me out - you need to activate mod in feral game launcher (check the mods box)
i dont do many mods so not always clued up on what people are talking about. need a step by step guide pls top get this mod working
many thanks and looking very forward to playing this mod.
Edit, i think i managed to get it working. lets see if it works as intended. thanks
If you have multiple mods make sure this is the 1st in the list and any others that are checked are compatible. Good luck and have fun.
Most likely will be fixed in v6 next month.
I usually destroy foreign culture buildings, anything that has downwards pointing red triangle.
You can see - public order from culture in the UI, always best to convert settlement to your own culture through buildings ASAP.
Some settlements will always retain a small % of local culture no matter what you do.
I gather their are no merchants in game? This mod is very addictive!!! always wanted a bigger map for rome. i played the darthmod for original rome which had increased map and cities. But this is far more epic.
I do believe that they should reduce movement points though. a bit unnatural moving all the way from bottom of sparta to iliyria or pella in one turn. I would think 50% what they currently move is sufficient for armies. and 75% for non army units.
turn 60 in Antagonid. finally making profit in turn 10 and out of debt by turn 17. wasting 18 turns not building anything was rather difficult. sparta war dec early. they were the hardest to beat with there hopilite generals. All the rest war dec me and were easily enough.
i have all of Greece now and just mid way through Epirus.
Its good to see that every faction seen so far has expanded sufficiently which will make it more interesting going forward.
Odd to find that we can recruit elephants in Greece!! I like the remapped traits and followers in this. But as usual our own generals have bad traits and its better to buy other faction generals as they dont have negative traits i see.
Not sure i understand the concept to reduce tax income with certain buildings. i guess it might make more sense later?
Also why are the AI allowed to build units when under siege? in one turn they added 4 more units! when already under siege.
thank you
As for movement points that's tricky as the next version is making the map even bigger ( 1700 ) regions i think.
We will have to wait and see, there are actually Generals traits that both speed up and slow fown movement points also usually the older the general the less movement points he has i think, could be wrong but try reading the traits of generals, you will certainly see some can move further than others.
Epirus and Makedon had elephants as a gift from some other nation i think and they mat have tried to train their own.
Certain AI settlements spawn garrisons when under siege i think as the AI will often leave settlements undefended.
For the buildings maybe that's trying to show maintenance costs per year ?
Pretty much faction goes into debt usually for a small number of turns, war is expensive ! Maybe the modders want you to go out and conquer the world ? it is Total War after all 😁 otherwise some players would just turtle up in their starting regions.
You're welcome 👍
Hi Iceni,
the second popup window doesn't appear when i launch the game. How to solve it?
