Some suggestions I made on the now deleted Teaser Mod Workshop Discussions.
  • Add moar settlements so moar Empires can be formed to challenge the player

  • Add some Emergant Factions including Max Command Star Hannibal leading a doomstuck Invasion through the Alps either at the start of campaign or whenever Carthage loses all overseas Territories or Roman Forces Land in Africa, A Germanic Cimbri Doomstack Invasion of Rome that spawns during the Marian Reforms, a Gallic Uprising Lead by Vercingetorix Himself that Auto Rebel spawns Entire Stacks in all settlements in Modern France [except Narbo and Masilla] of United Gauls whenever Rome Completely Conquers Gaul, a Coalition of Germanic Factions that spawn in Rebellion when you defeat the main Germanic Tribes and automatically kills all Foreign Units in Germania to represent a Military Disaster, a Rebellion of all Cities in Britianna except Cornwall lead by a massive Horde by Queen Boudica, and Maybe even make Parthia an Emergant Faction that spawns multiple Calvary Doomstacks to Invade the Selucids when the Player Declares War on Rome, or when the AI Selucids lose all Territories in Anatolia. That way Parthia would be Gauranteed to be a threat and not just be Roflstomped by the Selucids if they happen to turn their Attention to Parthia Early Game as Historically Parthia was a Vassal that managed to sucessfully Rebel and eventaully Overthrow their Selucid Overlords.

  • Nerf Rome

(maybe push back start date to best suit these]next few suggestions, or if able in the future have multiple start dates / campaigns for different time periods? I would really love a Horrendously Difficult Roman Campaign that takes place right after the battle of Cannae with a 8 Star Hannibal Max 9 Chevron Gold/Gold Elite Doomstack in Italy with you starting with Abysmal Garrisons to represent how a Third of all Fighting Aged Males just died, and At War with Macedon who threatens overseas Territories, with Gaullic Faction in the Alps, and Syracuse in Sicilly.)

  • Add Playable Etruscan Faction in Ariminium and Arretium (Pre-Marian Roman Units plus Hoplites ONLY essentially a Hard Mode Rome Persay)

  • Add Samnite Rebels in Central Italy (But not Capua thats a well Romanized City since 400BC!)

  • Add "Greece" in Tarentum

  • Now for the New Factions List, not including the Emergant ones because they are Special!

Gaullic Faction in Northern Italy (just pick one of the Three Tribes from Rome Total War 2 or Senones if you want to get 500BC Vibes), Arveni, Galatians, Suebi, An Eastern Germanic Tribe that starts in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Village, Illyrians, obligatory Epirus, Divide Greeks into Two Leagues one Lead by Athens and the Other Lead by Sparta, Syracuse, Massila, Etruscan League, Divide / Change Around Territories of Scythia so that there will be "Royal Scythians" just North of the Black Sea and Saka in the Northeastern Most Fringes in the Map and perhaps if possible allow Saka to be the only faction that can have Females as Heirs or Faction Leaders to represent their Legendary Warrior Queen who defeated Cyrus the Great.

  • Someone else already had this Suggestion but for the Romans there should be a Deticated Roman Rebel Faction during certain events such as:

Italian Enfranchisement Rebels for the Social War that will take place when the Entire Italian Peninsula, Sicily, and Sardinia Et Corsica is Conquered. The Event will spawn Multiple Stacks and cause any Settlement Except Rome in the Italian Peninsula to Automatically Rebel if they are Dillusioned or Rebellious, after the first Turn any Other Settlement in the Italian Peninsula will join the Revolt if they do not have complete Loyalty, this is to signify Rome Needing to keep the Support of its Loyal Allies during the Civil War. This Public Order Restriction will end once the Italian Enfranchisement Rebels have been destroyed. (To Guarantee people cannot cheese this event have Unrest Steadily Increase until an inevitable Dissillusioned Settlement or Automatically Pick a Settlement Not in Central Italy to Automatically Rebel to the Italian Enfranchisement Rebels )

Optimate Rebels lead by a Middle Aged Highly Skilled Sulla if Popularity with People is High 5 Turns after the Emergant Germanic Tribes that spawns with the Marian Reforms is defeated which in that case they would take all Territories East of the Adriatic. Or Populares Rebels if Popularity of Plebs is Low after 5 Turns of Aformentioned. In which case it will be a very Harsh Rebellion that will take every Territory Except Rome West of the Adriatic Lead by a 60 Year Old Marius (Hey a Game Mechanic that could screw actaully screw you over if you neglect it! Who would except this?) To prevent anyone from crying about "Unfairness" make Events/Emergant Factions a Toggleble thing and give a Warning of its Potential Difficulty

The Great Roman Civil War. Whenever the Republic Transitions to Empire, in this case the Senate Loyalists will take EVERY Territory Outside your Faction Leader's General Location / "Province" for example if he is sitting in Rome than only the Italian Peninsula will not join the Senate Loyalists, if your General is in Gaul like Caesar then only Territories in Gaul will not join the Senate Loyalists so on and so forth for each major Region. This will be a Unique Rebellion in that No Mass Stacks will be spawned but the Senate Loyalists will receive a Huge Income Bonus and be able to recruit Multiple Units Per Turn which this would eventaully overwhelm the Player if he did not act Quick and Decisively, this will represent the Huge Manpower Advantage the Pompeians had, or the Vast Wealth the Eastern Provinces had compared to the Western Provinces when Augustus fought Anthony.

  • Finally, I think ALL Factions plus Rome too for added Difficulty should also Experaince Civil Wars that Divide the Empire in Two to represent the Inevitable Sucession Struggles each Faction has undoutably experainced. There should be a Civil War for all Non-Roman Factions whenever The Marian Reforms Occur, and Whenever Rome is Destroyed. Additionally all factions should experaince a Civil War after a Short Game Victory is Achieved, and a Long Game Victory is Achieved. Perhaps these Civil Wars can even have their intensity Toggled to be Just a Minor Rebellion, or on "Normal Mode" the Empire gets split into Two and has some Stacks Spawned, on "Hard Mode" The Civil Wars would be the same as The Great Roman Civil War.

Hopefully my suggestions will be implemented!

I already see that some of my suggestions are actively being worked on which is nice. Such as splitting up the Mod into Two Time Periods which is crucial for best representing Rome as a Powerful Faction that came to be in spite of it being an underdog. Keep up the good work lads, make fun events, make the Game have more Historical Realism, and add ways to play the game with Extreme Difficulty and this will be a Legendary Mod that may even surpass the quality of the base game! Pour your hearts into this project for this will be cherished by many!
