DO NOT PLAY - Very Buggy and Broken
Me and my unit played this as a side op / fun op campaign and were met with endless frustration and disappointment.

First off the title of "Beta" is not accurate. More like VERY early Alpha as half of the mechanics do not work. The "Teams" you can join will break very often but not equally. By this I mean two of my guys were in Armored Calvary (ACAV) but I could not join as when I went to the officer at base and clicked in the H menu and tried to change my team I would get a little box of text stating "Team ID= Mikeforce". For this to be corrected we would have to yank the whole server and then its a lottery for the rest of my members to have their team broken. Green Hornets seems to break the most consistently, which means you will have to use Zeus to spawn Air craft for use as the mission locks all air assets to Green Hornets.

On the Subject of Air craft, this mission will break the S.O.G Prairie Fire Air craft. Many times when I had a Co-Pilot in my Phantom they could not exit the aircraft. They would have to eject from the plane to get out meaning we had to get a new phantom every time. Needless to say we did not run co-pilot in our planes after this discovery. The mission also likes to remove ordnance off of pylons when either entering the aircraft (Helicopter or Jet) or when you select the weapon of choice. This is very frustrating as the only way to correct this bug is to get a new aircraft, which if you are not using Zeus and want a new Phantom you will have to crash the one they supply you with.

The mission itself runs poorly. We had two VC controlled towns next to the main base never activate for capture. And how this mission is set up, if the script does not mark the town or area for assault you cannot take it. It even allows you to waste 30 to 45 minutes taking out AA and Mortars and fight off a counter attack only to not capture the zone. This happened at least five or six times. While on the topic of counter attacks, the VC cannot recapture towns or FOBs. After over 60 hours playing this on our server box with many restarts (mainly to try and fix mission or team bugs) the VC never took a base back. We even failed counter attacks on US owned territories and the AI would just despawn and we still have the town. The best way to fight off a counter attack on a friendly town while en-route to another objective, ignore it there is zero penalty for not stopping the VC. You loose nothing. Along with broken counter attacks the mission areas have a habit of breaking after you do all the objectives and fight off the counter attack. You could have destroyed all of the supplies and hostile sites and still not take the site with the mission stating you needed to either blow up crates or sites. This, once again, can only be solved by a server restart. Each server restart also has a nice little lottery of it purging your progress. Had a unit member go from level 900 to 1 randomly. That means they lost all the gear they unlocked, not that it really mattered with the gear due to the arsenal breaking randomly and only showing the equipment you already have equipped, which again, needed a server restart to fix (seeing a pattern here?). God forbid your in admin / Zeus, nothing will show in the arsenal for you. While on the subject of equipment, there is a food and water system which works really well. Does not matter too much as the VC will slap you normally so death is common meaning eating and drinking is not really needed, unless you get bit by a snake. The snakes are unkillable and can bite you when you are in vehicles, on top of boxes, on a plane wing, on a roof ETC. The only thing you need to do to fix it however is drink and eat. That's it. None of the debuffs like"Poisoned" or "Diarrhea" mean anything. Only thing you will encounter after a snake bite is empty food and water meters meaning you cannot sprint. But if you are using stamina you wont be sprinting a lot anyhow due to the terrain of Nam. Speaking of terrain, the mission shows that the people who made this did not think about where the placement of the "sites" may occur as due to the terrain of Nam and the size of the islands some of the "Site"s or "HQ"s will spawn in the ground, under water, or the HQ will have floating walls. The only way to fix these issues to to either destroy them in Zeus (not delete, if you delete anything mission objective related the mission will crap the bed and break needed a server restart) or pull them onto to land or out of the water for your team to take out legitly.

The AI ARMA we all know to be either brain dead or far to broken for even a cheater with aim bot and wall hacks to kill. This mission is no acceptation as it runs with base game ARMA AI (was FAAR to afraid to install VCOM for fear of breaking the mission even more). The thing that bugged us the most is how inconsistent the counter attacks felt. They would either send hords of VC at you for 20 - 30 minutes to which no RTO or Air support would see you get slapped off the objective, or send one two man team who will hide in the woods and force you to tack them down, and with how ARMA AI cant see grass or bushes they will get the jump on you nine times out of ten and kill at least one of your men. More consistent counter attacks would be better, or at least not one extreme to the other to keep the people on their toes. We also never encountered a single Tank and only one hostile boat.

In conclusion this mission is a broken buggy mess that is not worth your time until they fix the issues. Or I should say IF they fix the issues they have. We played with only Client side mods and TFAR BETA (You need BETA for the LRs to work by the way) so this should not have effected the mission's flow. This mission, along with the S.O.G Prairie Fire DLC are not worth your time in their current state. If you have a Vietnam itch, go download unsung and the Nam map off the workshop and find a Liberation for it as you will get a better experience. (Yes I am aware the same people who made unsung made Prairie fire) Both Maps are HORRIFICALLY optimized however but at least Liberation works.
