Yes
*If so, can modded diseases also arrive with them?
Absolutely
*What races are available for recruitment
Humanlikes, not animals or anything like that. Just the ones that are of the humanoid nature. I don't know what effects Zombieland has on this mod, but I believe it won't affect it since this may be similar to how "Man in Black" events work and those guys never come infected with the zombie infection
*Do modded traits work for them?
Yes, Rimdeed doesn't affect the pawns, it's just a platform to hire pawns from
*Do they all come from outlanders and higher tech level factions?
They can come from any faction. This ensures compatibility with other faction mods, if I did rule out tribals, this will still cause tribal modded factions and medieval ones to show up
*Is this more efficient than your "Recruitment Board" from Military Furniture?
No, less efficient but more balanced because I am aiming to abandon those features for Red Horse²
*Can I harvest their organs and butcher them with no mood consequences. They are recruited individuals
They are recruited individuals, I don't advise you to harvest their organs for ethical reasons but Rimdeed legal disclaimer is protected from being held responsible for what happens to Jobseekers
*They should technically stop/ slow down recruitment processes for you if your jobseekers started dying/ dissapearing
Maybe, this is a good idea, thank you
*Are you, Mr. Fluffles, Fluffy or Fluffier?
No, Mr. Fluffles is very busy and is always on Customer Service help desk to feed his 2 young muffalo pups and wife, Mrs. Fluffles.
I'm using SOS2 and was wondering how I can make this work in space. Does a caravan show up with the recruits or is it like 'Wanderer Join?" I also built a camp on the planet and that didn't work either sp "Set Up Camp" might be messing with it to. Souns like a good mod idea but can't seem to get it working.
Shut up Karen! But yeah, It works like Transport Pod. The reason it aint working Is I think SOS2 disables Transport Pod in space. The only way I see it working, Is to recruit them at earth and then take them to the spaceship.
It's not a wanderer join event my friend, think Taranchuk did it so that it's an event of its own.
I can only suggest you do it in an actual colony, will update the incompatibility FAQ quickly with set up camp. I do apologise for these unforeseen issues, I don't see us doing patches honestly cause it can end up costing me some unpredictable money to hire Taranchuk for cross-mod patches for mods I don't know the coding of myself.
All I can suggest is give yourself a Mr. Fluffles approved 100% discount in the mod settings for all the times you've paid and missed deliveries once you set up a colony, then set the prices back to normal thereafter. Cheers
That is, sending / requesting pawns for (potentially long) periods of time. i.e borrowing someone with high plant during the summer before the winter.
Of course if anything happened to the pawn I'm sure we would be liable...
It may be a similar issue as the SRTS mod with the map tile being "inaccessible." Someone made a good how-to here (it's super easy): https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1845423808/3112529260635031431/
Rimdeed is a bit of a gamble, that's part of what little balancing this mod has. Finding the applicant you want will cost you more- and really it makes the company Rimdeed more money that way. If you want a better overview of skills you can easily go to Trade-In rather than the packages.
Otherwise, it's RNG and you having to wait for the right pawn to generate in their website.
Again, if I had infinite time and commission budget for coders- I would love love to keep developing Rimdeed with more and more features but I unfortunately don't.
Remdeed: Applicants
Remdeed: Arrival
Remdeed: Complaint response
I can't understand what this means in the script settings.
Thank you
