Herd dies as adventurer

All 4 of my herd died within maybe a year from accidents (camp wasn't even moving). This is my first try as a vampire adventurer. Does herd just get killed off? That would make vamp adventurers unplayable imo.

do you herd humans? I always herd acute resonance vampires and they serve me the whole game

random encounter has Crusader Kings III

Probably bad luck. Humans are squishy, though. Disease kills them quickly. Going bloodleech is quite strong indeed. Your victims are constantly close to frenzy, however.
