Are you sure it's just five for the Book? I think it's seven chapters to complete Chronicles of Caine and then Shadows and Secrets to complete the Book of Nod. I can't get into the game right now, but I am fairly certain that nine is the number you are looking for.

Anyway, I am not aware of an option to locate artifact by name, but there is +map option for artifact owners, separately for landed characters and courtiers. Wandering characters slip under the radar obviously, so there is also options to find artifact owners in 'find character', separately for court and inventory artifacts. All books are court artifacts, Chronicles of Secrets and Chronicles of Shadows are famed (blue), all Caine entries are masterwork (green).

Supposedly there are two copies of each book in the world, but I am certain that intitalization hicups sometimes, so some artifacts never make it into particular game. They also get lost along the way. I would check that all pieces are in place before investing yourself into hunt.

Thank you for your response. Wow, clicking on every character that has an artifact trying to find so many artifacts that are probably in game but might not be.. hehe.. wow. :)

One the of the other required books is the Great Book, which I cannot find in princesofdarknessmod web page. There is a Grey Book. Any chance that Great is a typo and should have been Grey?
