Hearts of Iron IV

Hearts of Iron IV

Old Europe 1300
I Don't see transcribed Documentation + Wanting to figure out what "cost of maintaining the Economy" is so I can lower the Overhead to focus on Economic expansions between conquests.
Would like to see Documentation including every nook any cranny of mechanic. it would help speed up and make testing efficient since we will know what classified as a "Feature"

In example context; How does "cost of maintaining the Economy" work, the massive de-buff to National Revenue is a massive drain to treasury and built up Bank Reserves. I Spend half of my time between Wars as Byzantium Reclaiming Rome managing and trying to figure it out so my Economy does not Implode and to keep myself out of Bankruptcy

This is a formula for calculating economic development index the more it is, the more you spent on supporting the economy,
(((amount_of_docks_workshops_armorys*120/amount_provinces)+((amount_shops+amount_resourses+popularity_republic)/2.5)+loyalty_ofall_estates+amount_regions)*stability+numberof_trade_ports)*1.1=EDI

This is a formula for calculating supporting the economy debuff
EDI*amountof_regions/2.3/1000=supporting the economy percent

dont build too many civs or mills, focus on stuff that increases tax like trade ports or temples, most important is the economic pressure diplo, always use ot when its off cooldown. it lets you steal resources from your neigbours. its quite easy to make money honestly. use max taxes and free trade, bam money.

After some more playing with it. Free Trade seems to Break the Game. especially when Temples are Standardized Across all states. even with no taxes and little to no content in the Coinage (Stability Regained through Cheaper welfare options including medicine) I get easily 2000+ Gold per Day (after a few days the number of gold can't display properly due to digit overreach). Resource production is also a Good Idea since most of it was exports. I Build Civs and use both captured during expansion to pay to get the resources lost in Free Trade Back.

As for the Economic Tampering in Diplomacy. I only used it a handful of times often to avoid war and allowing expansion (OR Revenge in the Multiplayer with friend game for launching so many invasions on me at once.). I Restored Rome and Launched a Crusade into Western Russia to test a Division Design using Bombards Catapults and Trebuchets along with 4 Heavy Cav Battalions. only losing 10K men i inflicted 400K during a semi Implementation of the division in my Army for the Reclamation of Portugal who conquered most of Iberia. RIP Austria, I tested the Economic integration Option on them since i didn't know WTF it did. Bohemia won the succession Crisis and i had to Break them by Using Poland and the Teutons as Belgium to open the Eastern Front. Good ole Danes from when Both Rome and the Danes fought the Germanic as allies (Actually Happened) felt Nostalgic. to this day i refuse to SteamRoll the Danish block despite surrounding them in good faith. i also got Sweden and Finland when they decided to play Fiddle with the HRE in a Military Alliance.

Some Reason Guinea had a higher Army Score so i literally tested another Theory on them; one Army per Country full of the new Division. 1 division took as much as 10 divisions on and still bulldozed them. in fact it went overkill and within the first week killed 100K. the war was a Steal since Guinea had all of South West Africa with it's eastern borders stopping short of Sedan

also, does the Byzantine Civil war of 1320 Still Happen? Micheal the IX's death in 1320 Historically Caused a Civil War between his 5+ Heirs. I'm worried it'll end like the Catastrophe of the 3rd Century and Destroy the Rome I Built after Destroying the HRE

Bulgaria went on the war path and took Rome so when they Declared war on me, I Went Napoleonic and blitzed their cores since they literally didn't nationalize anything. for a bit my Economy Imploded since Export Focus wouldn't cut it anymore. Stonks, Got Rome back in a Defensive War. the Papacy went Pagan, probably why Bulgaria Launched the Crusade to Rome before I did

after knowing enough i decided to have me and a Friend play on multiplayer, I Chose Byzantium and he Chose the Templars. he's a Noob so i Carried his Rear. before getting 5 different invasions staged on me including wars with Epirus, Naples and a Templar Offshoot from his Terrible Management west of Marseilles. I Won all 5 Fronts in the Exact Manner Trotsky Dealt with the White Russian movement. one at a time with my whole Army... until the
Off-split on the Mediterranean Obliterated most of my Army when i tried a Naval Invasion before Finishing Off Naples. all while giving him thousands of Gold so he could get a Statute to fix his Problems.

It's a Very Good thing my Laziness makes me desire encirclement because some part of me Refuses to Understand most of the Vanilla mechanics. I'm incompetence with Tanks but Re-skin it into Heavy Cav Knight Armor and I Swear I Become Sun Tzu literally Encircling the enemy army into Oblivion (probably inspired by watching old Medieval battle videos) so i don't have to fight them. getting rid of my insecurities is like Invading Russia man, the cold shoulder it gives Freezes any motivation down to Zero. If only i could Apply that Ego and Finally Beat a Total War Game like Total War 2: Rome or Company of Heroes (not a Good RTS Player). Kept Accidentally Overrunning the Entire Front instead of Getting that tasty full army encirclement as I desired in Iberia where only 12 GAR Divisions existed in testing Stages (despite being in full build not changing it after assembly)

Anyone got any tips into how i can Condition myself like I'm a member of the Kemalist Deep state setting Polls to Lie and Change people's minds about Religious Fundamentalism? Curious as to how they came up with such weapons of madness and to see if i can copy their note book of Success on myself to make myself the Product of my Desires

also is there a good reason why the Game Crashes when i Zoom in on Central Anatolia and Damascus? Invading Arabia took a solid Week from the Crashing constantly Demotivating me. since the Iraqi Sector was where I planned to Canae their ass like Hannibal to test the Speed of the New Division.

Decided to Call the New Division after the Crusade into West Russia, Christening them as the "Grand Army of Rome" (like Star War's GAR) once I sent them to Jerusalem for Christmas and the Puppet Exiditionaries Back to Rome itself to Train back lost Experience before Sending them Home from Service (I got Scotland, the Picti tribal friends north of the wall of Emperor Hadrian) in the HRE Crushing. Poland tried 3 times to Comeback. twice when fighting the HRE and one last time right after launching the Russian Crusade. Novgorod was my puppet from conquest and i'd use their claim to Unite a Russia. Even did some province trading with the Golden Horde since Tula tried to be a can of whoop ass. kingdom of the Danube puppet, me and they benefited from me taking the Bosporus and the Caucasus Separating them from their Former Hugalid Puppet. i'd like to say the Horde (Faction name both use) is Scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though i'm afraid to invade since I Don't know how the Horde System Works, otherwise Afghanistan would of been mine by then. the GAR template is probably a Reskin of an Artillery only Template minus the Cav and Muskets. GAR Divisions are Easily 30-40 Width built envisioning medieval sieges like 1453's Constantinople Ignoring all statistics else-wise. same approach i take with Heavy Tanks.

Hint: Rush Research Muskets and Harp on Free Trade, Statute and Build Churches before getting more Civs from Expansion and building mills, Camps and Resource synthesis. Free Trade takes what feels like 90 percent of all resources so I broke my economy so I could a fraction of the 300+ Mills and 800+ Civs the AI Built for me. they're nice for a people I Conquered.

lol why did they add Economic Imperialism? my Puppets got wargoals on them too. Triggers my ADHD; do i finish off Venice whom i Spared after Crete or do i Get Revenge on the Mongoloid Hun Cousins for Causing the Great Migration that Butterflied into Hitler and WW2 if i Ignore the Russian Imperial Panslavism that Totally didn't Destab the Balkans along with British sponsoring of the Serbian Blackhand for muh democracy in southern slavia into killing ya boi Franz Ferdinand and ya Boi's Mama in 1900. Franz Joseph was a Family Man. so was Franz Ferdinand's last words as probably the Most Chad Father in History that no one talks about. Franz Ferdinand and Vladimir Selensky of Today's Ukraine have the Same Energy. both'll probably die for the sake of peace in their country too; absolute tragedy since peace was the best hope for Christendom in the Incoming Globalist Era

History is by Coping drug with Boredom if Video Games Cease to Band-aid the Cut in my Life's Purpose. I'm a Genius with Unharness Potential and i'm just Neeting it here next to College Work. Mexico's Fascist Tree looking fire right about now.
