Well done, the attention to detail is spot-on
So awesome, I was blown away. Amazing textures/materials, reflections, it's all really well done. I don't know what word to describe this environment other than pure 'quality'. When I first played HL2, I was blown away by the physics, and throwing stuff around. Now it's the lighting and materials that's giving me that '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' moments.

There is a big bright window where you load in, and I kept bringing objects over to that window to move them around under that bright light. I was literally saying 'wow' while looking at a teacup and saucer. But those ridges on that saucer, mmmm. I even let out a nice 'daammmn' when I was looking at a cabbage.

A couple things I noticed (and these are very minor indeed):
1. The fork has a kind of weird reflection. If you hold it at a sharp angle then it looks okay, but looking at it dead-on under that blue-ish light of the monitors makes it look like one of those flimsy white plastic forks. Holding the fork in the fridge makes it look more like a normal fork.
2. The flurouescent light just inside the entrance to the lab has a weird issue when you view it from the side. Standing beside that crackling TV to the left of the hologram and looking at the flourescent light, the light disc/cookie or whatever it is, like a 2D sprite that has no thickness, is visible, and is very noticeable.

But honestly, damn. That's all you can say when you see this environment. It's beautiful, like looking at a woman you love wearing that dress you like, after a nice steak dinner. Satisfying..., delicious? Can we use 'delicious' to describe VR environments?
