Review of this Questionable mod
This is Primarily for ASA, but also ASE.
This is, by far, one of the mods i've had the strongest opinions, and biggest struggles, to the point i am now debating removing it from my groups server.

Modders are very much like Farmers, they grow food/mods in the hope that people will try them and enjoy them. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same tastes, but more unfortunate is the TLC and attention they receive from their developer. When Farmer grows their crops, they do so by paying attention to all the small details, learning from mistakes, and planning accordingly in the future, as they continue to tillt he fields and grow new crops in the same fields, or even new ones. A grown fruit, doesn't become perfect in one go.

Much like farming, modding is the same. If your mod is unripe, rotten, or worse yet, moldy, nobody will want to try it.

This is where Prehistoric beasts lands. I enjoy AC: Wild Ark, and will say it has some questionable balancing decisions, but i actually have to use it as a base point for understanding this.

Before i bash this mod without remorse, i WILL SAY, it is a nice addition if you like variety and challenges. It offers a plethora of creatures with unique taming methods, voer 45+ creatures for you to find, deal with, and tame/kill.

BUT.
Deal with, key word.
Problem 1: ♥♥♥♥ balancing. Byeah. Edmonto oneshoting everything below its trample theshhold is truly something. It has terrible hitboxes and AI in the wild, but both tamed and wild ones have insane trample damage. I had a Gigantoraptor, saddled, get oneshot at 13k health by a Alpha edmonto only lvl 55. How is that even possible. And my GOOD edmonto bred with 1400% melee? Its stomps do 4k a piece, double stomp 9k+. Christ almighty, did i mention its ludicrously tanky? NEVER INSTALL THIS MOD ON A PVP SERVER BTW, i play PVE entirely, but even i understand this ♥♥♥♥ would be unfun as hell.

Problem 2: Inostrancieva. Now, i did report this bug at the time of posting this. But either way, this happened, so i shall rant. Ino can 5 shot a titanosaur with his bleed atm, dealing percent hp. Nuff said.

Problem 3: Taming methods being buggy or awful and unintuitive. I KNOW the mod page has a guide, and i am intelligent enough to read it. But will every average joe understand that? Will people figure out that edmont can only be prod tamed? Or that draco becomes immune during Life stance? Or that kelenken needs to be bolaed and fed melons like some ice age reference ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? No. And, let me tell ya. It dont get much better with many of the other custom tames.

Creativity is fun, important, and defining. But like a Fruit, it needs to be picked when its ready, too little work, or too much work on a mod, may end up in a expried food item only a few may enjoy still. I dont Doubt Queen_Krysta put a lot of effort into this mod, and she very much should continue.

But, for the love of everything that is holy, find some friends who know what they are doing to QA test stuff, PLEASE.
