Saltasaurus taming question
The video says you need to break it's armor, but what indicates the armor is broken so you can switch to tranqs? It doesn't seem like they take more damage after a few hits, so I'm not sure what to look out for.

Okay...I'm just really confused at this point. I can knock out a low level saltasaurus but dealing enough damage to start torpor on a higher level one pretty much kills it. I can't find any way to heal it in the wild, so I guess we're not allowed to have saltas over level 8? Please help?

Yes you can!!!
But you have to take into account not to carry a good weapon because otherwise you will kill him, the polymer gun is the best option.

Thanks for the response. So far the best method I've found was to use the venenosaurus.
