The other issues I never had. Seems like a corrupt mod install or a double installation of S+ & SS.
https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/ARK:_Homestead
To make a long story short: in 2019 were some of the S+ buildings integrated into vanilla, so using these "vanilla S+" structures along with SS/S+ as a mod will result in some parts being doubled and therefore unforeseen actions. Just disable homestead, there's a vanilla option, and the conversion from ramps to stairs should be gone.
I'm still going to use this mod because I absolutely want the floating foundations but I have a lot, a lot of HATE of having to switch myself to stairs, it's all rotten.
Plus like most big overhaul mods it's bloated with useless stupid stuff. It was not possible to put the engrams of the mod in a separate tab? it's a big mess.
Anyway thx for your help
Homestead is disabled in the right GUS.INI? Remember, there're several existing, only one has an effect of Homestead behaviour, difference between Single Player & Dedicated Server. You may verify that you have caught the right file. Then, if you only have this mod active and not parallel S+, too, the change from stairs to ramps should be gone.
Please remember that other mods, such as (little) forks of S+, may interfere with SS. The mod loading order is also relevant. Some mods do in fact integrate parts of S+ because it's open source now.
All my stairs never convert to ramps, and I have a lot, no matter, how often I do restart my dedicated servers. These beautiful glass stairs, I love them.
Feel free to do your own fork of S+/SS with only that stuff you'd like to have. If not, it's a "take it or leave it" option, just like with any other mods we use. I like almost everything in this mod, so I didn't want to have a smaller one.
So my problem still remains...
Regarding the .ini I changed to false in the Saved/windowsnoeditor folder AND I added the line in the defaultusersettings
Regarding my mods I obviously don't have S+ installed, I understood that I had to choose between these two mods.
I don't have many other mods:
Revive my dino
Upgrade my dino
Dino storage
Dino tracker
LC Camp Lamp
Awesome teleporter (i never use it)
and another 2 or 3 more
You still use and can place vanilla wood stairs with the SS mod and AllowIntegratedSPlusStructures=False ?
And then to be very clear in your game the VANILLA WOODEN STAIRS are not converted to SS ramps (with or without AllowIntegratedSPlusStructures=False)?
And my game is very stable considering how many people are having serious corruption issues with this game.
I will find a solution on my own. But for those who will read this topic know that AllowIntegratedSPlusStructures=False is useless.
Seriously? I've tried to help and all you do is to call me a "troll"?
I gave you all infos you need to fix this problem (corrupt mod files, possible configurations, mod load order, backup & clean install to prevent interaction with other mods, etc.). Sorry pal, not my problem any more. You could have taken a look into documentation:
https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Mod:Super_Structures#Structures_Plus_(S+)_vs_Super_Structures_(SS)
https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/ARK:_Homestead
My servers, just like stated, run fine, so it's not a problem of this mod, and every instance has SS. I wish you good luck, I'm out now.
