I bought Arma 3 recently, played through the campaign and some dlc missions. However I was really disappointed as they don't even include some of the best features of the game. BIG open map, ability to pick your own methods, combined arms etc... Especially compared to Arma 2 / Operation Arrowhead / PMC campaigns which I really enjoyed despite the bugs.

This campaign fills this void for me. I haven't finished it (yet), and I can't keep my excitement about discovering what Tanoa can offer in terms of stories and adventures. I didn't even like this map before :D

The only thing missing for now is some large scale battles but may be there are in the later stages of the game. Oh, and Kingdom Come style save system which takes valuable time that could be better spent on missions.

Thank you very much BI and developers for Old Man. It shows that you loved creating this scenario and I am hopeful that BI will take this direction more often in the future.
