Is this a dark and sad story of war crimes, flee, refugees, corruption and hope
It feels to me the story has something of Far Cry 2, which isn't bad. The story actually also tells of people hiding from war and are casualties from the civil unrest:steamhappy:

Metal gear solid V meets far cry 2 during the french revolution but it's in a tropical setting.

The most important factor in the story is the people suffering and compassion, grieving and struggle against uneven odds, without being too much so it's "relatable" and plausible
