That should be fixed already. I'm going the need more information. Make sure both VF and SOS are updated by unsub and resub. Post error logs if available

I've been having a similar problem with upgrading the regular shuttle. My pawns will take plasteel or uranium to the shuttle for the upgrade and just endlessly stand there with the progress bar cycling and resetting trying to put the materials into the construction if I forced them to work on the project. If they autonomously decided to build the upgrade, they will just leave the materials on the ground and walk away. I've been able to force the upgrades to go through by having multiple pawns work on the construction until a pawn brings a material that will go through, like advanced components, which seams to solve the problem. I have updated SOS2 and VF, but the problem persists.

We spent an ungodly amount of time trying to replicate this Kent and I, and just can't. Something is clearly malfunctioning for users upgrading shuttles but it's probably a complex mod interaction that doesn't show up in the logs.

If you could help narrow down exactly what is causing it I'd appreciate it. Like I said I can't replicate it on our systems. Tried every upgrade and combination of resources.

Hi. I have this same issue, but I don't have any logs at present that could help. However, in the interest in narrowing down potential mod conflicts, I will be sharing a pastebin to my rimpy modlist. Hope this can help narrow things down.

I have the same problem after the update, but everything was working fine before the update. Is it possible some code of the steam version is not synchronized? I don't know about programming or mod making, it is just my guess.

So far everyone using this Prepatcher has this bug and/or the ship launch failing bugs. I'm at the point where I just don't trust it. And the mod lists tend to be HUGE. 150+.

I can't replicate this vanilla so someone need to start sifting through their mod list looking for the interaction. Replicate this issue vanilla, please.

This is a video of my test, as you can see there are no other extra mods except the Chinese local mods. SOS2 and Vehicle Framework are both the latest versions on Steam.

To be fair, you can blame vanilla expanded for a lot of that. Every single release is a separate mod.

For the record, I have no issue with ship launch failures at the moment.

I mean, I assume it's a mod interaction issue, which is why I posted my modlist for others to cross-reference. The sos2 incompatibility google doc is wildly outdated and at-times inaccurate, so a lot of us are still trying to figure out what does and does not cause issues.

I updated it 12 hours ago with all I am aware of. It's not out of date. If there is anything inaccurate let me know ASAP so I can fix it.

Well, Neronix reports that Tabula Rasa does not actually prevent the afterlife vault start from launching would be the inaccuracy I'm presently aware of, unless your internal testing is suggesting otherwise at the moment.

Vanilla Expanded Security (my main concern about the google doc being out of date, alongside the un-updated faq) is still considered unknown compatibility which means it's up in the air whether or not it actually breaks shields right now without direct testing, which I haven't gotten around to yet as presently my current SoS2 interactions have been launching a ship in a normal save, and starting an in-ship save to make sure nothing was broken out of the gate.
When I finish my Rimnauts space station and sink my teeth into the SoS2 combat I'll come back to clarify whether or not the shields are broken with VE-S installed.

And since I'm reporting some mod interaction compatibility, I'd like to mention that Reel's Expanded Storage is partially compatible, in the sense that containers will not lose their items when a ship takes off, but the container capacity will revert to 1 stack until reinstalled or the save is reloaded, which could indicate a required patch on the end of RES or Adaptive Storage Framework, not sure which since I haven't tested any other modded containers using ASF.
Vanilla shelves using ASF still function normally, however.
Edit: Actually on closer examination they're also being reduced to 2 stacks down from 6

Edit: Formatting for readability.
Edit 2: Updating due to link to new sheet, more info on vanilla shelves using ASF

Well.

Egg on my face, I suppose.

The only spreadsheet I could find was a link[docs.google.com] from the old SoS2 wiki.

Edit: I see this sheet was added to the main workshop page too, that's double on me at this point. Dreadfully sorry.

I'm having some trouble with this too,
sometimes they'll come up to the ship with the components/steel/whatever and just repeatedly drop and pick up the items on the ground, and sometimes they'll just stand wherever they were spamming the debug log with errors about job creation;
see example log here https://pastebin.com/6VTCGLQZ
Though I was having trouble with it using my full list, I pared it down to just Harmony, the Vehicle framework and SOS2- *and* I redownloaded all 3 to confirm they were the latest versions.

It's the weirdest thing, It worked before, and it still sometimes works, for example I can put the "heavy armour" upgrade onto the medium shuttle without any issue. I wonder if it has to do with the recipies using multiple ingredients? Definitely a weird one.
