SteamCMD setup
How do I complete the steamCMD setup? I followed the instructions for installing and logging in to steamCMD. Then when attempting to setup the download integration within RimPy I only get the error window saying:
"Steamcmd setup is not completed
SteamCMD executable exists: True
Symbolic link exists: False

SteamCMD folder:
C:\Games\steamcmd

SteamCMD setup is not complete."

There were an issue, RimPy was unable to create symlink if you have spaces in path to steamcmd. I have updated RimPy, try to redownload it.
Also make sure you drive where you installed RImworld is NTFS filesystem and drive with SteamCMD is also NTFS.

Choose the same folder as before. If it already contains steamcmd, then RimPy skips downloading and will just ask to create symlink. If your drives are NTFS filesystem (allow symlinking), you will get a message that all setup right. Then you can convert and download mods.

Strange enough, but I do not get notification when someone creates new discussion. If I do not answer, try to ask on Discrod https://discord.gg/SAx5umn
Thnaks for your fast answer :)

does this mean we should install rimworld and steamcmd onto a thumb drive or similar?
Hi, I'm running rimworld and rimpy on a fully ntfs system but when I try to set up steam my from rimpy it says it couldn't complete the process and suggests I'm not using ntfs.
