Archotech furniture should never be craftable as it's incomprehensible by human minds.
Ultra tech furniture is our Spacer pack.
How is that different from barbed wire, use wise? No point in making an exactly the same thing that just looks different.

Shield generator seems like a better option here, as it has it's trade-offs. Adding an anti-air gun would require us to design it to be by definition worse than a shield generator, and it just seems like an ability that Industrial colonies shouldn't have - intercepting flying projectiles should be a thing of spacer nations.
Yes there is already mods that are doing pretty much it like the Cargo pod Transport mod and its derivatives but the loading mechanism is the same as vanilla pod wich mean that you can't load things (like pawns or items) in it whenever you want without having to discharge it completly and in addition the author drop support for the mod.
There is also OHU Dropship which have a little better loading system and vanilla graphic fidelity but seem to still have lot of bug in it.
And that without mentionning the fact that none of them are multiplayer compatible
It's just a suggestion tho, keep up the good work
EMP cannon available in Spacer era is an EMP turret.
I thought I'd give some feedback on this mod, as I took some careful comparison between this vs my other main defense mods I use: More Vanilla Turrets, Rimatomics, and Frontier Development Shields.
- The biggest downside to this mod I see is that while there is a plethora of options for low/mid range turrets, there are none of long-range turrets. Even the railgun turret with its 45 range is optimized for mid-range combat. The vanilla uranium slug gun is expensive to use and overkill for most opponents in game so many people like to use something else, like Sniper Turret from various mods and MVT's Precision Turret. It's a common need that this mod simply has nothing for.
- The sentry gun is kind of OP. It's cheap, decently effective, and doesn't require a power connection. Why even bother with the other low-range turrets? You can have a bunch of these and don't even need to worry about powering them on/off.
- The HMG's stats make it far more of a shotgun than a HMG. It's 5-shot burst is too low for crowd control. Its stopping power is too high. And it sounds like an air rifle. I don't get why this can't have a upgraded stats of your weapon mod HMG.
- The artillery is very nice as a fast-reloading mortar, but its overmap bombardment is painfully slow. It's ability to deliver useful support fire is rather limited as a result (my assault team completed a makeshift bunker near the pirate base faster than the artillery shell arrived).
- The floor turret and flame turrets are amazing for the nitch roles they fill: anti-drop defense and anti-insect defense.
- The rocket launcher needs more ammo capacity, and would be better manned than unmanned. The main reason is because of how expensive and inaccurate its shots are, usually opening fire at the first raider that comes into range and missing. Few colonies can afford to automatically spam HE shells without targetting at concentrated foes.
- The shields work very differently than what I'm used to. Both have its own merits. But what made to chose elsewhere is that the large shield (3x3) is rather unwieldy for indoor placement. The main purpose of a large shield isn't to cover defensive positions but the whole base from pods/meteors/etc. The 3x3 size makes it tricky to fit into existing base designs.
