B)Rosa sees her quest of the black crusade from a different perspective. She was meant to vanquish the living because that was the only way she could actually SAVE the world. A world so much derailed from the right path could literally no longer be changed in any possible way to be saved. War would be an eternal reality and the condition would only worsen. So in order to create a BETTER world she realizes that she HAD TO KILL OFF EVERYTHING. She must as her duty END the world in order to allow it to be rebuilt from scratch. Only then could a new reality be conceived one that would really see true greatness revealing in the end that the darkness that she had to spread was actually better than the light and death better than life.
The Black Crusade becomes sth greater. A crusade to rebuild a world which to be effective can only happen if the world is completely cleansed of its own current poisoned existence. Because the light it is living currently is the poison fooling it into an appeasing lie. On the other hand she decides that even morally what she is doing is the right thing as the darkness may be painful and so is death but it is the only truth in the end, the only truth able to wake the world and rebuild it from its foundations once more greater in darkness. Better an evil murderous truth than appeasing lies in short.
In other words Rosa on option B concludes that her Evil is Salvation. And realizes her true potential as the one to exterminate and thus save the world! After her campaign of extermination she then takes the necessary measures to ensure that the world through darkness is never again brought to the light and thus never again derailed from the righteous path of death.
What i mean is that Rosa Maledicta's story has one fundamental flaw. It uses rational logic. It thinks within a box that instructs us to condemn darkness or death as bad and claim that light and life are good. There the story is lacking. Rosa has as her character says the potential to think beyond the boundaries into something which we consider insane. But it is not. It is fully sane just not something we are used to. It is an option outside the box. Rosa can only claim true assertion to greatness if she as a character breaks that barrier. She finally sees outside the box and doesnt see what she does as sth bad but as sth good and furthermore sth that is a necessity for the betterment of the world. Noone will ever be able to understand her but that is natural as she has far exceeds regular thought with this mind set. She has eluded the meaning of words and connected opposites and can now use everything in existence interchangeably leading to her being able to access an infinite number of solutions to any problem.
Some time after starting black crusade Rosa meet with a windigo and learns that windigos had manipulated her into starting crusade (they also hired assassins on headmaster of Arcturian Order). Rosa think that even windigos had pushed her into doing this she will continue as she herself want it and swear that they will see. And that's all, no epic showdown or confrontation, what leave the story without a proper ending. Adding a a text-only event or spawning wendigo nation somewhere at the map to fight with would be good.
Getting back to the crusade itself only special things in it are that little decisions giving you research bonuses based on with who you fight at the moment. There could be events and decisions about making preparations to battle specific nations or in specific regions, resurrecting new generals and advisors from tombs and battlefields as you progress through the lads of living (with different outcome based on the path you took at the start), turning the arcurian order into undead knights for example.
Another important aspect are racial research of Dread League. It's lacking some necromancy based techs and special elite units, necromancers and/or liches/vampires for example.
