What are your strats for dread league?
I just want to know what you all do when you play dread league. They are the most interesting nation to play as and i want to know how you play them!

I've been trying to put up a fight with the Society of Bones for about 18 hours now, all attempts have failed. If there is a way to win it's not with the Society of Bones. Equipment is a problem in its own, but once the major countries make their way to your boarders with Tanks, your units will just throw themselves at the tanks to be bounced back like nothing ever happened. Not sure if this is the same problem with the Vampire alternative.

I've tried the society of Blood...yeah by the time I got enough stuff where I thought I stood a chance, Equestria had nukes.

After looking through the tree, the Society of Bones never seemed even capable of standing a chance. I've always went for Society of Blood. The problem is when ever i ready myself, every other nation has tanks, and more advanced tech. I know that's the point of the DL but IMO it just doesn't work in this game. It's a shame because I love the league and the concept of a freaking undead army invading equestria lmao. I think instead of lacking tech, the league should have their own undead themed tech, weapons, tanks ect. Or something along those line idk its not my mod. Anyone else have strats without cheating?

I have tried Dread League several times, and even with early success, once I bump up against anyone beyond the first few nations it doesnt matter how many troops I field, I just run out of ponypower, even with the necromancy spells. Tech becomes an overwhelming advantage in this game, and there is no way for basic breech loaders with primitive artillery to beat tanks and air support, and with no way to catch up tech-wise, I cant see how the Dread League is supposed to even invade Equestria, given that they will have to build an outdated navy from scratch just to attempt it, and then go up against an advanced navy thats been building from the start.

There are a few things to note about playing the Dread League correctly:
I prefer to go with the Vampires because it feels stronger to me. (You also get a much cooler Rosa)
You should rush the war with the Arcturian Order as quickly as possible and then end it as quickly as possible, if they get volunteers you're done for.
After taking the Order down, you have 2 choices:
You can wait years and years to research technologies to catch up with the world and increase your army along the way with monthly population(Society of Bones is better for this)
or
You can declare war on your neighbours as quickly as possible(ignore the focuses on the right side of the focus tree) and get the focuses to ''catch up'' with technology. If you do it just right you can be producing Assault Rifles while your enemies are still on Machine Pistols. Also, if you choose the aggressive path which is much more fun you should be extra aggressive and attack provinces with more population so you can convert them to ponypower.

Other tips: be sure to never have a stockpile of weapons, you must spam out units like there is no tomorrow
Don't waste crystals on ''create weapons'' too early (for example on swords and spears)
Be sure to use ''create weapons'' as much as possible after taking down the order if you're going to play aggressive
Most of the time converting the living is a better pick than create weapons, since you can get equipment from the enemy and converting gives you back your crystals and creating weapons destroys some of the crystals in Magehold
The game pretty much becomes a slug fest after you take out Watertowns, the Free North, Arrowpeaks and Farbrook. From these places you should be able to get enough units to push your way through to big population centers like the Herzland, from there it's all over for Gryffonia

P.S. Make sure to garrison The End and Magehold if going to war with the world, if they take either of those you can get into some big trouble (you need Magehold to convert the living) but if they land next to those ports you can take out entire units and get a lot of equipment which is very strong
