More generals pls

I've checked that it's compatible and it has custom general portraits as well. I may do generals in the future but I want to be after I make custom portraits for them.

I'm looking into it and trying some stuff out now since I've been busy for a while. It's difficult to make paths that make sense historically and are compatible with the rest of the tree but I'll have something out soon.

I have a good idea. How about where if Italy goes Italy First, they could go to war with the German Reich, America, and the Soviet Union. Hell, let's take it even further, and let Austria join the faction. Hell, at this rate. Why not just remove the befriend Japan focus? Kind of useless

well the new update have been surely a HUGE improvement, but i have some tips, what about a focus that expands on what whas the latin union, wich lets you focus more on spain, giving you the choice to directly intervene in the civil war and either make spain an ally or make her submit, taking the iberian mediterranean coast and puppeting the rest of spain, plus some stuff with portugal, morroquo and tunisia as well, plus a non aligned path, with two branches, one letting you stay with mussolini with vittorio emmanuele III in charge, mussolini would be as a trait, like the king himself is in the vanilla game, giving you fascist simpathies plus some cool bonus, with a focus tree that leads either to the standart triumph in africa, the latin union and the rome protocols, and the other branch where the royalists get rid of mussolini and put umberto II in charge, with democratic leanings and a focus tree to join the allies or the french entente if the french go that route, and if you are interested in adding some, i have a lot of portraits of italian generals if you want to add them just send me a DM


PD: maybe adding some love for greece in the pact of rome or the latin union would be great, with a focus that turns metaxas party fascist while not having to change him (because metaxas was a fascist, yet the game puts him as non aligned) and some focuses to help the greeks both economically and militarily, plus a focus or two to help them get some anatolian lands, and rename istambul to constantinople

Thanks for the suggestions Luca. I've already started on an unaligned path that does include Victor Emmanuel III and Umberto II which with the latter can lead to a democratic path. I'll get to work on that after I have made the relevant events and fixes for the Pact of Rome branch. I was thinking of a way to ratify the Stresa Front by demanding Tunisia from France. Also I am intending to make a Latin Bloc focus where Italy, France and Spain are allied together. About Greece and the Latin Union I'll have to leave it for now since I'm focused on the Monarchist path and wanna get that done beforehand. Italian Generals are something I wanna add at some point but Italici Imperatores does that well enough already. So thanks for the offer but it doesn't seem to be a priority at this point.

Please add a neutral branch tree. So we can make King Victor Emanuel III rule.

Don't worry I'm already working on a monarchist path. You'll be able to choose between Victor Emanuel III and Umberto II as kings of Italy and should be out in just over a week.

Edit: Might as well use this as a chance to explain how it'll work. It revolves around making peace with Ethiopia before trying to subdue the fascists to stop the isolation of Italy from the Western powers. Because of Ethiopia not being a drain on resources there will be a better industry focuses and allow for the establishment of the Stresa Front.

I suggest making a discord server for the time being, if you want to chat about updates, and notify us and such.

So, the development of the monarchist branch of the Italy focus tree is ongoing; But I guess the two focuses in the German focus tree, particularly the 'Prepare Italian Coup' and 'Assassinate Mussolini' will have a bypass in case if he is no longer the leader of Italy. As for the monarchists, I guess there might be addition that the Constitutional Monarchy has to be restored if Italy decides to go on a democratic path.

Personally i wouldn't bother with historical accuracy 100% due to the fact that the game is kind of about alt history so really it wouldn't have to be completely accurate, as long as it fits the narrative and has some decisions and news or something, it'll be a-ok.

I love this mod! I suggest you to add decisions to add cores to irrident states like Dalmatia, Corse, Malta and Savoy changing their cities names and a new formable empire that includes italian states, the irrident states I wrote before, Slovenia, provence, alpes, albania, montenegro, tunisia, lybia, all greeks states except thrace and central macedonia, and to integrate eritrea ethiopia and somaliland into Italian East Africa puppet with its flag and an italian governor as leader
