Total War: WARHAMMER II

Storm of Chaos

Lords
Warriors of Chaos
  • Archaon can unlock a Chaos Dragon mount, a new skill to buff the Swords of Chaos, and has some of his vanilla skills slightly improved - not by a lot, he already buffs Chosen and is a combat monster.
  • Sigvald now deals mostly AP damage and is faster. Many of his personal and army skills have new or buffed effects. Has access to a couple new skills to buff Marauders (includes Huskarls) and can turbocharge the Mirror Guard to be effectively Chosen+.
  • Kholek is unchanged. Dude, he's already Kholek, there's not much I can upgrade.

Blades of Khorne
  • Egil Styrbjorn is a heavily armored but ponderously slow duelist lord who can become nearly unkillable while in melee and immune to knockback, but has no mount options and no way to counteract his slow speed. His army buffs reflect his lore, turning Chaos Warriors into an extremely durable frontline, buffing Aspiring Champions to help dominate the line, and giving Marauders various mobility and damage increases to flank with. He can also access and buff some Norscan monsters, like Skinwolves and (renamed) War Mammoths. He also starts with two unique heroes, his daughters, who are his opposite - fast and fragile, with solid dueling potential but also excellent active support abilities. Finally, he offers special buffs to Huskarls from his tribe.
  • Atropos is a Dark Elf Dreadlord, a Har Ganeth general who fell to Khorne along with some of her personal forces out of disgust for Khaine's needless cruelty and a desire to simply master combat. She offers no buffs to Chaos units, but can drastically buff the 4 Darkshards, 2 Executioners, and 1 Hydra she has access to. A reasonably strong duelist, faster but less durable than Egil and highly resistant to knockback. Despite her looks, she's probably the nicest person on the roster.
  • Gaius van Baelsar is an Empire general who willingly turned to Khorne seeking immortality to continue perfecting the art of war. While a mediocre duelist on his own, he has access to three roughly-equal mounts, specializing in anti-infantry, anti-large, or generalized damage, each with different stats. He also offers access to a large arsenal of Empire cavalry and artillery, from Outriders to Demigryphs, and even a steam tank - but can only recruit 1-2 of each. He makes Chaos Warriors cheaper and tougher to serve as a frontline, but adds massive upkeep costs to monsters to discourage their use.
  • Scyla Anfingrim is the former chieftan of the Ironpelt tribe, turned into a Chaos Spawn by Khorne. While a bit vulnerable initially, his items turn him into a durable monster-mashing machine, and he has a wide variety of skills to boost his melee and short ranged Marauder buddies. He can also buff warhounds, granting them Stalk and Vanguard, and access Norscan Ice Wolves.

Talons of Tzeentch
  • Sarthorael the Everwatcher is an ambitious Lord of Change with designs of deification. As a caster he is unparalleled, with access to 4 full Lores, including a fair number of custom spells. As a duelist, not so much, though his items make him less vulnerable and grant access to a powerful anti-unit laser so he doesn't just get rolled by Kroq'Gar. He can buff Tzeentchian and mutated units significantly and recruit extra Wyrd Spawn.
  • Balor is a Fimir Dirach, a sorcerer without peer in the mortal realms who has bumped heads with many of the greatest figures of Fimir history. Specializing in Shadow and Dark magic, with a few custom spells, he can become a solid duelist if you have the spare points. He almost exclusively buffs Fimir and foot marauders, buffing missile resist, damage, and eventually Stalking all Fimir and melee Marauders infantry (not ranged/horse stuff).
  • Saenathra the Arachnarok Broodmother is an unstoppable magic-consuming monstrosity, as durable as she is destructive. She has a number of selfish upgrades and items to grant Perfect Vigor, lifesteal, brutalize casters, sunder armor, and blast areas with poison cysts, but can also access and upgrade a variety of sizes of spiders from her brood, incentivizing a mobile, shock-focused playstyle. Forest Spiders can climb walls naturally and she can turn them into solid anti-infantry chaff while larger Baels shred infantry and massive Arachnaroks rip apart large foes.
  • Prometheus the Giant Magus is an expert in Fire and Life magic, offering Chaos a source of healing. He is a mediocre duelist but excellent at demolishing frontlines with his high melee damage, Burning Skull, and a fire aura that deals damage to nearby foes after casting. He can work well with the entire Chaos roster, but buffs both varieties of Trolls and Chaos Giants, mostly offering defensive buffs.

Children of Nurgle
  • Lord Blistrox is the Spread of the Word, one of the most influential Plaguelords in Clan Pestilens - best known for his uncanny ability to make use of other clan's specialties, including almost unheard of Pestilens/Skryre alliances. A fragile anti-infantry duelist without amazing stats, he relies on the Lore of Nurgle's natural healing and buffs to surgically remove enemy lords and heroes while coordinating forces from all four Great Clans, able to recruit and upgrade Eshin assassins, call in Plagueclaw Barrages from distant batteries, or summon the Jezzails of Skryre Team Six mid-battle.
  • Valnir the Reaper is a tough, halberd-wielding Chaos Lord with strong defensive stats who is excellent at bringing down large targets, but his real strength is in the wide variety of plagues he can infest his army and his foes with - deal crippling damage and debuffs to individual or grouped enemies, or infest your own forces with mutually exclusive plagues that offer significant bonuses to them or debuffs to nearby enemies, making Chaos Warriors and Chosen even more terrifying than usual!
  • Kharan the Blighted is a siege specialist who performs best when tearing down enemy walls, clogging up their towers and granting bonuses to your army or debuffs to theirs when sieging. He is also an excellent combatant in his own right, tearing through swathes of enemy infantry with his massive greatsword, though not as good against enemy lords. Probably how Repanse gutted him the first time.
  • Skoroth the Scourge is one of the most powerful Lore of Nurgle casters to ever walk the mortal realms, with a wide variety of casting bonuses, making up for his poor combat stats. He also has a wide variety of mutually-exclusive choices to power up his army of Plagueborn and Aberrations, able to specialize them into different roles on the battlefield, from simpler choices like a bonus vs infantry or large, to stranger shifts like giving them acid breath or regeneration.

Still no idea for Slaanesh ll? If you need help I can try looking for information in the lore.

I have the lords planned out, I've just been too busy to do any modding.

What about generic exalted daemons when the mortal empire playthrough goes long enough to have recruited all the new unique lls?

I'm unlikely to touch this mod again for TWW2. I do plan to port it to the TWW3 monogod factions, and they do have Exalted demons.
