Some Constructive Criticism
I like the playstyle of the astrologer, it brings a really unique (and viable) mechanic that allows the character to be it's own thing, without being too overly complex, broken or just unfun to play.

To me, there are a couple pretty big issues with the mod, however. The first is with the character design itself; it's not bad by any means, but it's just a major shift from the artstyle and tone of the base Slay the Spire game, which leads to it being kind of awkward/jarring when putting this Tim Burton/Anime-esque inspired character alongside a rather minimalist impressionist artsyle. It causes the mod to feel like a mod, which is unfortunate.

However, that is just me, and aspects like art are an intrinsically subjective thing, so if you like how the character looks, then keep it like that. Though for me, I would recommend looking at mods like "The Disciple" or "The Cursed," which are character mods that have unique characters whose designs are able to mesh more effectively with the style of the base game.

The second issue is a bit less subjective; throughout the base game, you are able to pick up relics like the Prismatic Shard/certain events that allow or will outright force a character to pick up cards from other character decks, modded characters included. The issue comes from the fact that your character is extremely unique, and if another character happens to pick up a card from her deck, it can cause the game to break, and not in the "overpowered" kind of way. This is actually a pretty common issue with modded characters, and I have no idea on how to fix it, but I figured letting you know would help a bit.

The main reason I don't really bother trying to make art look like basegame is because, putting it bluntly, I'm not really capable of doing so without an amount of effort I'm not really willing to put in. Either I'd have to find someone capable of making said art, and give them sufficient motivation to create said art, or try to modify basegame art to fit my needs, which wouldn't work too well for the tarot cards or the wide variety of stars.

As for prismatic shard stuff - Yeah, a lot of the cards aren't too useful for other characters. That's kind of an unavoidable downside for characters that have significantly unique mechanics.
The Stellar/Lunar/Solar stuff will all function, but it'll be basically impossible to get the cards to properly synergize.

I lean to feeling the same way. I think you could probably do a once-over for different, colorful art, and pair that alongside the character to give the same kind of effect without it being so minimalist. Often, I struggle to remember what a card does without reading the description, and the goal of the art is to immediately remind you of that.
